Printer recommendation for student

Dear all,

any recommendations for printer for university students? I have a lot of lecture notes to print everyday
so I wish to buy an affordable printer with affordable ink.
mainly printing black and white only.

Hi all, so last year my aunt gave me this printer and i just digged it out today to try and use it, but I couldn't find the hole for usb cable to connect to laptop, neither did my aunt give me the usb cable, can anyone tell me where's the hole? and where can I buy the usb cable?
Besides, anyone know how much the ink cost? I have a HP printer at home and the ink cost around RM50, which is kinda expensive for long term use.
can this canon printer be modified? where can i get it modified and how will it be like after modified? how much will the external ink cost? how many papers I can print for each ink?
I am going to start my degree in either med school or pharmacy school soon, and it will require a lot of printing for notes especially those with diagrams I will hv to print them in colour

Problem with my Sony vaio laptop

I have a Sony vaio laptop, bought it in year 2010, it's i3. It was infected by virus once and my bro's friend helped me to format it, but the reinstalled one isn't the original one. My laptop had quick web access but it's no longer functioning because the quick web access thing wasn't installed after he formatted. And my laptop is super slow now. Like seriously. Slower than tortoise. Anyone knows how to fix this? Will it do any good if I format it again?

I achieved band 4 for MUET (only 9 marks away from reaching band 5), and I'm considering of taking IELTS, I need to achieve at least band 6.5, do I need to take up any courses for IELTS from British Council? Can I self study and still be able to achieve band 6.5?
band 4 in MUET is equal to which band in IELTS?

TARC hostel? or rent a room at PV?

i've started my college life for a few months. everyday i travel from my house to college, when the traffic is smooth, it normally takes 30 minutes to reach. when it's jammed, it's totally speechless.
i dont drive to school because my family don't let me drive far distance, plus if i drive to college, my grandfather will hv no car to use for him to yumcha with his friends.
so my dad fetch me to college everyday and pick me up everyday (sometimes my bro/ my friend fetch me) my class always start at 8am or 9am and end at 2pm or 4pm. when i hv society meeting, i can only go back from college at 6 or 8. i'm taking a-level so my schedule is very pack, everyday go back home i'll be sitting infront of my books. i really need a place where i can really study.
i don't really wish to get a car, i wish to stay near college instead.
so, any suggestions? whether i should stay in tarc hostel or rent a room at PV?
pls tell me the pros and cons. and tell me which one do u prefer thanks in advance!

Physics, drop or not?

hi all, me, again (i wonder if anyone remembers me)
I've already started my Cambridge A-level course for 3 weeks
I am having dilemma whether I should drop physics or not
the reason why I have this idea is because I sometimes can't really understand, I need to do a lot of extra revisions, revise again and again, ask friends here and there, then only I can understand that certain topic
I have course mates who have already dropped their physics
my goal after A-level is to do medcine, or dentistry, or pharmacy
do you guys think I should drop physics and give more time for other subjects?
I have a senior who did A-level and did not take physics, now she is doing medicine in CUCMS. she said it is not compulsory, and it is not related to med. just that may have some formula parts in physiology which are very easy to cope with.

my bro applied for diploma in banking & finance at tarc, he was from science stream n got 3A's in his SPM, he was a foundation in business student from utar but he stopped n decided to start all over again. may i know is that a wise decision for him taking this course? what is the career after graduated? and, is DBF at tarc good?

I want to do medicine. I went to TARC today n applied for A-level (I can get full scholarship with my result)
if you guys hv better idea of what should i do with my result, please do let me know
or maybe there's other scholarships which are better than TARC's merit scholarship?

hello erm I have a doubt, do you girls actually shave away hairs on legs n arms?
I have obvious hairs on my legs n arms, and it is very disgusting when I wear shorts / skirts (not to say very, but it is very awkward when guys notice )
need help, how to deal with body hairs?
if shave them away, it will grow back which make it even obvious right?

Alvl or FIS?

Just wanna ask, if I want to go for medicine, should I just take up foundation in science?
Or I should go for alvl first?
If I take FIS, does the uni reserve a place for me in degree course ? Do they gv priority to their FIS students?
Hopefully u guys can gv me some advices, and also recommend good uni / college for me

A-level, TARC or MCKL?

i've decided to do A-level if I don't get matriculation (only 10% for non-bumiputera)
so.. TARC ? or MCKL?

TARC's scholarship guaranteed can get, don't need to compete, as long as results are qualified.
MCKL's scholarship doesn't guarantee can get, need to compete with other scholars, although results are qualified.

TARC is cheaper, and the scholarship accepts A-
MCKL is more expensive, and the scholarship only accpets A+ and A

TARC is nearer, and my bro will be studying there too, so we can hv carpool
MCKL need to take lrt & monorail.

actually my family can afford even if I don't get any scholarship, but...you know, just to lessen their burdens

I am a fresh spm graduate of year 2012. I've got 4A+,4A,1A-,1B+,1B in my trail examination. do you guys think I have the potential to study medicine?
I am keen in pursuing medicine in the future. I've applied for matrix, so hopefully I get the offer
if I can't get matrix, I'll go for A-level. and I am wondering, which subjects should I take for A-level in order to continue my study in medicine after a-level.
I've decided to do a-level at methodist college kuala lumpur / TAR college , I would be glad if anyone can tell me more about that college. and, is mckl better than tarc?
I am not born from a rich family, i need advice about which private uni/college to do medicine is best for me.

oh lastly, should i apply for UPU if i want to do medicine?
