I'm wondering if anyone else is facing this problem.

I'm on Maxis, iPhone 4 running iOS 6.01.

Ever since I updated to iOS6, I am no longer able to send out any iMessages with pictures via home wifi. It will try very long to send and then fail, and then the message will be sent as normal text.

Note that the problem only occurs when connected to my home wifi.

I had no such problems with iOS 5.

At home, I'm running Unifi with a TP-Link wireless router.

Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where I can buy this thingy, on which the gas tank sits?

This allows you to slide the gas tank in and out easily for ease of changing the tank.

Thanks in advance.

Hello.

Anyone else experiencing slow downloads lately when downloading from file sharing sites like Rapidshare, etc?

Used to get almost max speed (approx. 500+ kb/s with VIP5) but lately getting less than 30kb/s.

I'm wondering if Unifi is throttling download speeds to these sites.

Need help picking out tile colours

Hi guys.

I'm at a blur here... hoping you guys can help. I suck with colours.

I still have not picked out the tiles for the small 2ft wide area between my base cabinets and wall cabinets.

To give you an idea... my base cabinets will be red and wall cabinets will be white. Floor is a dark grey.

I'm thinking of mosaic tiles. Have seen the red, white and black mosaic but after looking for 5 minutes, give me a headache. hahaha... looks "too busy"... if you know what I mean.

Any suggestions guys? At this point in time, I'm just thinking to just put plain white 2 x 2 mosaic tiles.

Thanks guys.

Maxis users with iPhone...

OK...this is a genuine problem I'm having and I don't see similar thread opened.

I'm using an iPhone 2G for few months...just upgraded to 2.1 Firmware about few weeks ago. No problems until now...

Past week or so, I've been getting an unusually high number of failed calls with the message "The number you have dialed is inactive" or "Nombor yang anda dial tiada dalam perkhidmatan". I get this message even when calling landlines.

I complained to Maxis and they said it was due to them doing upgrade to their system.

That was almost a week ago. Any upgrade would have been finished. However, I'm still getting these failed calls with higher than normal frequency.

Any other Maxis users with iPhone getting this problem?

Thanks in advance.

2G/3G SwirlyMMS

Guys... anyone gotten their SwirlyMMS to work on their FW 2.1 device?

I'm using these settings ...

EDGE – APN: net
Username: maxis
Password: wap

SwirlyMMS settings
? MMSC : http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc
? Proxy : 202.075.133.049
? Apn : net or unet
? Username : maxis
? Password : wap

Not sure if the above correct or not. I got them after doing a search of this forum.

My SwirlyMMS was working before when I was still under FW1.1.4.

Or it could just be that the latest beta version of SwirlyMMS is just not fully compatible with FW2.1 yet.

Mine's an iPhone 2G, BTW.

Just wanna make sure.

Thanks in advance.

Blocked?

Hello guys.

Recently restored my iPhone and unlocked using iLiberty. Not sure if this changed anything, but lately been receiving calls where instead of number showing, it says "BLOCKED" instead. Did not notice this before when I used Ziphone to unlock my unit.

Anyone got idea what's going on? I thought might be case where the caller has blocked their caller ID from appearing. But just received a call from a friend who didn't do the blocking and got this blocked message as well.

Appreciate any feedback. Tks.

Reliable walkie-talkies

Hi all.

I'm looking for reliable walkie-talkie units for outdoor use. I go fishing a lot and would be good if got reliable walkie-talkie set to use to communicate with other buddies.

Don't recommend me the FRS series walkie-talkies pls as they are totally hopeless. A few hundred metres apart on the highway already cannot communicate even though these sets claim 5mile range.

Any recommendations?

Thanks & regards!
