As the topic description stated, I only got 2k tight budget, monitor is included in this budget too.

I want to build this rig for only DOTA 2 and using MULTISIM software for my assignment, and hope it could last for 5 years.

Im not sure is that correct for u guys to post my question here but... Hello every sifu out there, I just bought my new pc on last week, my rig shud be no problem for gaming, I mean run them smooth without lag but every games I play, I feel lag and spike, the screen will hang for 1 to 3 second ( Im not so sure), no matter I set it high or low (never set extreme). I had installed all those environment software for my pc such as microsoft .net framework 4.0, microsoft visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010 Redistributable ,Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0, JAVA, Direct X 11, OpenAL and updated my graphic card driver to the latest one 310.90. I used 3DMark 11 to check my graphic card benchmark get:

It shud be passed right ?

I installed my windows on the ssd and all my game in my 1TB WD Cavier Blue, and I even used HDTune to check my hard disk, the result is okay, no bad sector, no warning status.

I used HWMonitor to check my pc temperature, when IDLE, processor will be 30+ Celsius and graphic card will be 30-40 Celsius, when Gaming, processor will up to 60 Celsius and graphic card will up to 60-70 Celsius. It shud normal for the temperature right ?

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (Cracked)
Processor: i5 3470@3.2ghz
GC: ASUS nVidia GTX 560 DirectCUII TOP 900mhz
PSU: SeaSonic S12II 620W
MOBO: MSI Z77MA-G45
HDD: WD Cavier Blue 1TB
SSD: Sandisk 60gb
RAM: Kingston value ram 1600mhz 2x4GB

Building new gaming rig

Hi, everybody, I need some suggestion or opinion from u guys for my new gaming rig.

I wanna build a gaming rig to play prototype 2, darksider 2, batman arkham city, skyrim and others smoothly without lag.

I bought a processor i5-3470 and a graphic card ASUS GTX 560 DirectCUII TOP and a standard size nvidia casing and Im using Samsung SyncMaster 943 NWX monitor.

I left 1k to 1.5k to get psu, mobo and ram. I have some question for this 3 parts. Could u guys give me some suggestion or some little guide for me ? Thanks

- Izit Consair DDR3 1600mhz value ram enough this rig ?
- Izit Consair GS600-80 PLUS Bronze Certifiend 600 watt enough ? or Consair TX650 ? Silverstone ? or u guys have another suggestion for me ?
- I prefer ASUS mobo but dont know how to choose those model, any suggestion for me ? Any other brand mobo suggestion I also accept.

Please help me, every sifu or pro there. Thank you very much.
