Progressive Interest change to early installment

Hi all, I have a question and hope to get some advice.

I currently have an RM310K active loan with RHB which I am paying progressive interest. Bank already disburse total 220k now.

I called RHB and they mentioned I can do early commencement of installment but they will need to make a report to release the remaining 90k early to the developer.

with this then I can pay installment which can deduct principal and not only progressive interest.

Can I know if this is a good idea to early release the money to developer so I can start early installment?

Suggestion for foreign currency FD placement

Hi, appreciate if anyone suggest me the best way to put a foreign currency FD for my scenario.

Currently have some USD cash just sitting there and I wish to keep it in form of USD currency.
I notice I can open foreign currency account in Malaysian banks and put a foreign currency time deposit so can earn some interest instead of just lying there doing nothing.

What is the best and cost effective way to transfer this USD into a USD account to put foreign currency account?

I have alliance Xchange online foreign currency account, thought of converting the cash into MYR through money changer and convert again to USD online but alliance rate is quite bad😅

Hi, can anyone tell me if i can enter sarawak using OLD IC?

Will there be any problem when passing through the immigration because of OLD IC?

I knw i need to change when 18 yrs old but always forget 😅 am 22 now.
