Rear Absorber

Is there any possible way to know whether its time to change the rear absorber?
When I changed my tyres, the tyre guy said that the rear absorber is spoilt. He pointed out that the tyre has sort of uneven surface, saying that its due to the absorber fault which in turn make it noisier when driving & will spoil the new tyres.
So I was wondering whether is there any better indicative to determine whether the absorber is spoilt?

Guys, need to know whats the cost like in fixing the driver's belt as it can pull back. (once pull it remain that length). Do normal accessory shop fix it? Thanks for input

Windows in Safe mode?

Well here's my problem
In ADD/Remove Program, I accidently deleted some system files (I think) sort of SIS ......(can't remember)
Problem is now my notebook running in sort of like safe mode. No Log off option, icon becomes big like in safe mode. I try restarting in normal mode but its the same.

Wonder if anyone can help?

Difficulty in starting up notebook

My note book seems to hav difficulty in starting up as after loading window XP then suddenly it will be bluescreen with whitewords the whole page.

I hav no idea what it is because as soon as the blue screen comes up then it will automatically restart. When restart it will check disc.

This is repetitive sometimes few times and up to half an hour
So can anyone tell me what is the problem. Help woll be much appreciated.

Someone tell me that:
1) Need to change the RAM card
or
2) Need to format.

Please advise.
