i5 vs i7

Hi guys, I've been out of the PC building scene for few years, now planning to build a new rig with a GTX 1070 on the GPU side.
As for CPU, initially I was planning to go with an i5 for pure gaming build only. However I've seen some sifu recommending i7 for gaming in other posts, which in previous years was deemed as overkill.
Is i7 the new norm for gaming?

Resolution vs Refresh rate

In terms of better viewing experience, which takes the higher priority, a monitor with higher resolution or higher refresh rate?
Let's say I'm looking to upgrade my 1080p 60Hz monitor, and there's only two choices:
- A 1080p 144 Hz monitor; OR
- A 1440p 60 Hz monitor

Any sifu who has tried both can give their opinion?

Unifi Router Recommendation

Currently just upgraded to Unifi 30 but still using stock tm router.
Only getting around 10mbps speed now, please suggest a better router.

Budget around RM 800, including:
- Router
- 2 Wireless adapters

Planning to get wireless AC.
Would I benefit from it compared to wireless N?

Wider mouse

Hi all, I'm looking for a "wider" gaming mouse, as in the length from thumb to pinky.
I'm currently using a Logitech G400 mouse. It's a great mouse, it's relatively large enough for me to palm grip, but I find it a little "slim" to my liking.

Requirements:
- "Wider" than G400
- Palm grip
- Prefer wired mouse
- Under RM300
- Mostly for playing FPS

The G700 seems to fit my wider criteria but I dislike its 3 additional button placement on the left button and it's wireless. I understand it can be wired using its charging cable but I'd like to hear more suggestions.

Can any sifu recommend me? Thx

P.S. Are the Cyborg RATs any good? Seems to hear less from them recently.

Regarding mITX build

Hi guys, this is the first time I'm building a rig on my own, so I would like to clear some of my doubts. Basically, I would like to build it using the Bitfenix Prodigy casing as I like the design very much, however I have a few concerns.

1) I'm building it for gaming purposes, would a mITX build be appropriate? Will there be any overheat issues?
2) Should I be cautious which GC I pick to fit in it? Or any card will fit nicely? Will MSI 670 PE or ASUS GTX670 DCUII fit in it?

The spec I had in mind is something like below, non-OC gaming rig:

i5 3470
Gigabyte GA-H77N-WIFI
8GB Value RAM 1600
WD Caviar Blue 1TB
ASUS GTX670 DCUII
Bitfenix Prodigy Casing
LiteOn 24x DVD Writer
Enermax NAXN 550W
Intel 330 120GB SSD

I'm not sure if everything can fit in the casing
My budget is RM3.5k. Appreciate all sifus to give suggestions for the rig and enlighten me on the above questions
