SAT? Help please!

Hello, so I just finished my SPM back in November this year. So I'm actually aiming to get into UC Berkeley which, if I'm not mistaken, is a Tier 3 university. I was just wondering whether it is possible to self-study for SAT or is it crucial that I need a tutor? Are there any good SAT tutors that anyone can recommend? So far I've only heard of the Cartisans.

Okay, so my plan is actually to do one year of ADP as well as sit for my SATs and then apply as a freshman. Will this plan be feasible? I'm actually planning on doing my one year at HELP.

Also, would I need to take SAT Test Subjects (SAT II) or is the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) enough? Some people say I need to take at least 3 SAT II subjects while others say that I should be fine as long as I maintain a high enough GPA doing my ADP. If I have to take SAT II, which would be the easier scoring subjects? Personally, I don't like Maths. I took Add Maths for SPM and it was definitely not my thing, most of the time I got a borderline pass or C. So Math II is definitely out of the question.

Sorry for wall of text . I tried asking at Edufairs but all I got were very, very vague answers. Would definitely appreciate it if someone could guide me to the right path.

Cheers!
