so i was at a popular mall recently, and as nature calls, my toddler did no.2, so, as i normally would, i brought my toddler to baby room, to clean and change her diaper, as i usually would, but, at the particular baby room, only 1 basin is there, but 3 changing mat places, so as i was getting my toddler ready to wash her bum, a Lady is washing her baby bottle at the basin, i waited until she was done, and so brought my toddler to wash her bum, but after i washed my toddler's bum, the Lady talk loud enough so i can hear it " why wash bum at bsin, i washing bottle" not exact word for word....

so, my question is, who is in the wrong, bcoz my wife was quite annoyed when she heard the Lady's rant, and quickly ask me to get out of the baby room

hi Guys, if you still remember, i was last terminated from my job as per thread above, but i've gotten myself a new job

honestly, i should be glad, but after 4 months of bumming, need something to get me into the right mindset again.....

so, here i am, asking the ppl of LYN, what are your suggestion

btw new job is 20% pay raised from my previous job, benefits only 600bucks for travel allowance, i'm in a sales position, 1st time join bumi compani as a non bumi

those who are curious, i burn around half my savings while living my best life, and receiving EIS at the same time, honestly, i think i could last for another 3-4 months even if i didnt get my job now

just a sidenote, my observation, job market is really shiate right now, Q1 of new year, should be more ppl resign, hence more job opportunity but i gotten my job purely bcoz of my experiance and the person who found me on linkedin randomly, so yeah, guys, update your linkedin, even if you beleive its a waste of time

just to give ppl an idea, i've applied on jobstreet, linkedin, myfuturejobs, multiple screening calls, few headhunters calls, and only gotten 2 inteviews(both of which were not my industry, which i got lowballed and i rejected it right away) in the span of 4 months roughly, so yeah, job market is shiate for O&G now....

so, it finally happened, after a slow 1st half 2025, kena performance review but i'm being terminated even after i landed a huge order(POed 1st Sept) that basically achieve this year's sales target, but boss aim kaw2, dont like my face, so terminate me anyways, company from SG btw, chinaman boss

while i'm dissapointed, also excited can rest a while, i know this year everybody struggling, so i guess now look for jobs sure like shat....

how u guys cope with job loss?

since mandarin speaking is frowned upon, is this considered racism as well? i mean, unless everybody is fine with mandarin speaking, i guess we can be fine with this as well....

unless mandarin speaking cannot, but this can.....not very fair...no?

btw, for Petronas, its an unwritten rule EPC must wholly or at least majority muslim owned, why nobody make any noise about this? haha, but when mandarin speaking whole world know.....

Road Closure for thaipusam

BATU CAVES: Seven roads around the Batu Caves Temple will be closed beginning today ahead of the Thaipusam celebration on Sunday.

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Mohamed Mohamed said they include the Kampung Melayu Batu Caves traffic light junction, Middle Ring Road 2 turnoff to Batu Caves and the traffic light junction in front of the Shell Batu Caves petrol station.

“We will also close the Jalan SBC 8 /Jalan Lama Batu Caves junction, the Middle Ring Road 2 turnoff from Sri Gombak headed to Jalan Perusahaan Batu Caves and Jalan Perusahaan towards the Batu Caves Temple.

“These roads will be closed from 12.01am on Feb 3 until 12.01am on Feb 8,” he told reporters at the Batu Caves Temple police command post yesterday.

He said any decision to reopen the roads earlier or to keep them closed to traffic for a longer period would be done if such a need arises.

“We will keep the public posted through our official Facebook page (Polis Daerah Gombak).

“Checks show that the chariot is expected to leave from the temple in Jalan Tun HS Lee at around 10pm on Friday and arrive at Batu Caves at around 3pm on Saturday,” he said, adding that an estimated two million people were expected to throng Batu Caves between Jan 15 and Feb 15.

He said the public should expect traffic congestion within the Batu Caves area during this period, which is expected to spill over to areas nearby.

He suggested the use of alternative routes and public transport to avoid further traffic congestion.

He also advised motorists not to park illegally and to ensure the safety of their vehicles.

“Use additional security locks especially for motorcycles, watch your valuables closely and beware of pickpockets,” he said, adding that the elderly and disabled should be given due attention.
