Uber KLIA rides (drivers)

I'm a month old Uber Black driver.
Last night, i picked up a foreign rider in KL, short ride but during the ride, i overheard him talking on the phone his flight out the next morning (this morning) is at 730am and he needs to leave the hotel by 530am.
What i did (maybe it was stupid) was to actually be at his hotel before 530am and camp there. I went online and selected KLIA as my destination, so that Uber will not send me any ride request out of the way.
I waited a few minutes and decided to open the Uber Rider app on my other phone, just to see if there's any other Black drivers around at 530am in KLCC. I set destination to KLIA and to my shock, there's no cars available! Not even my car was listed as available! I went offline and online again, all ok, i'm Online. But once i set my destination to KLIA, i was immediately taken offline on the Rider app.
In the end, i had to remove the destination and was open to all request otherwise i wouldnt get ping. Lo & behold, at the end, i did get a ride request, 15mins away, and to Subang. bummer!!

The same morning, i picked up a Singaporean rider from a hotel in KL. again short ride, but the rider ask me if i'm interested in sending her to the airport in the afternoon. She's on a business trip so it needs to be Online.
So i told her i'll be at the hotel lobby and she should request for a ride only after she got into my car so i'll get the ping and i'll only go online then.
We did all that but Uber simply did not assign me her ride request even if i'm the nearest driver. She had to cancel like 3 times and i had to ignore a ping.
At the end, she selected a different destination, ping my car, and then change destination to KLIA once i was selected.

This got me thinking, do they have special rules for Airport rides? How is it i couldnt set KLIA as my destination and get request to KLIA only? How is it even when i'm the nearest driver the ride request to KLIA did not come to me? While i understand a FIFO system for rides from KLIA, there shouldnt be one for rides to KLIA right?

Maybe other drivers can share some info??

p/s: heard from a rider that there's rumour that the Uber driver app can be 'adjusted' to only receive trips to airport. Is it true? While i'm happy to get 1 airport trip per week, i've heard of others with 8-9 trips per Day!

WTA - Kitchen Roof extension

For back Kitchen roof extension, between aluminum or lightweight steel truss and wooden truss, which is better? Pros & cons?
More importantly, which is cheaper?
I plan to use roof tiles, not polycarbonates to match existing roof tiles
Also, after the roof extended, can a man stand on it? For aircon servicing etc?
[WTA] wall hacking

hope someone can advise if it is possible for me to hack off the wall between the original wardrobe and common area (see photo below)
the wall i plan to hack is clouded in red.

[attachmentid=3902625]
(dimensions not 100%. based on my on-site measurement and estimations)

this is a 2.5storey house and i plan to make the 0.5storey upper most floor a master bedroom. the plan to hack the wall is to make the wardrobe bigger. i don't need the 'common' area.

the biggest fear is because the water tank is sitting directly above the wardrobe (open air). i'm quite certain there is no structural column near the wardrobe(except on the right which i'm not hacking), its just a wall. cos i can see the horizontal beam near the staircase. (beam must joint to column right?)

but i don't know if the wall i want to hack is a load bearing wall, i.e. the water tank above is also using this wall to sit on.
i bought this house sub-sale. the house was completed by developer 6yrs ago. the previous owner stayed there since but didnt do much reno. so he also got no idea.
i sent email to the developer asking too but so far no response.

can anyone advise? is it ok for me to hack it?
thanks in advance.

i'm looking for something similar to below photo:

[attachmentid=3806431]

but just plain door without the grooves.

needs to be hanging type without bottom track.

the roughly size is 8 or 9ft height x 7 or 8ft width, with 4-door panels (spaced equally)

no need high quality, even hollow door also can.

wondering if RM1000 budget is enough incld the frame & installation
