B & W ? or other brand for after sales? Which?

I am not sure but are B & W products sold by the same distribution company in Malaysia as in Singapore?

A few of my friends told me not to consider B & W speaker or headphones over here due to some bad experiences.
Should we reconsider other brand? They are actually expensive products so I am not sure why the service was like that over there.

Not sure if you guys have the same experience as me.

It happened that I ordered my bowers&wilkins P7 headphone from the showroom at MilleniaWalk, after 10 days I gave them a call to check if my headphone has arrived, if not is it possible to have a refund because I will be travelling to US, myself won't just get it from there rather than waiting for a month.

But I'm quite disappointed with their response, something like "I told you on that day already when you make a purchased as you will need to wait for a month or it might come earlier, not refund " then bla bla bla.... It gives me the feeling like they are scolding me

I went to Bose showroom at Somerset and happened to know that one of the staff there also complaining their services.

What I'm sure is, I won't go back to bowers&wilkin singapore to make any purchase again....

I can tell you an even worse experience.

I have a pair of B&W P5 that I bought in Europe in 2012. They functioned well until in April the right side stopped working. With the Singapore air, it is usually a soldering point that gives way.

So I tried first to contact B&W in the UK but they never answered my emails. I then looked up the agent in Singapore and went by their showroom in Lavender Street. The guy there told me I had to produce a bill or they wouldn't even look at the headphone. I told them I had registered online and that they could check the purchase date. He then told me that they would look but that it would cost me $320, regardless if it was a soldering connection or if they needed to replace a driver. Since a new one wasn't that much more,I refused. Sennheiser never gave me much better (and free) service when the driver of my HD650 was out of alignment. I left and told them I would write to B&W directly as I don't like being extorted. Later the local manager called and told me they would have a look and repair the headphone for $175. I agreed and gave them the P5 later that day.

After two weeks I called and they told me they had made repairs so I went and collected it. I apparently trusted them a bit too much as I only tested it at home. It turned out that nothing had changed. The right side was still out! The next day I returned and they promised that they would look at it again. This time it took almost two months but the right side was finally okay. I was happy for about 12 hours (I listened to the P5 for only an hour or so). Then the left side went out. I now have a useless P5 and don't even want to go back to the shop anymore.

In short, I'll never buy a B&W product again. Their headquarters never answers emails and their service is untrustworthy and a rip-off.

I got iMac but wish to make it go faster. our recent purchased MacAir with 256Mb ssd starts and open programs faster than all our computers in my office. Can any sifu recommend special ssd or ssd storage (ext) to boost our iMacs.

does Microsoft Office (or Mac) work well on Mac osx 10.8? Or try Open office or neo?

I using it for word, excel and sometimes powerpoint.

I am looking at the newest model apple MacAir 13 inch selling for rm3699 and HP Envy series.

I am using an old HP Elite (windows xp) which lasted me 5 years. The only problem I had is to change a new HP power adaptor so far. This Hp never gets noisy or hot just warm only!

I used it for my banking work and watch hd google you tube.

I do not want anything that need to be charged so often which is why I love apple i pads because they only need to be charge after 9 and half hour of usage. Unfortunately I cannot use ms office for my work.

Which 13-16 inch size model(s) can you recommend please.
