Bridge (a card game)

I was introduced to this game by a friend many years back and found it quite interesting. Later I found out to be actually Singapore bridge which is the more popular variant over here. Went to check this game in the internet only to find the more competitive and popular bridge version in the US/UK/EU called contract bridge.

I'm wondering whether the community over here is away of this game and which version do you play.

Page pool memory

I'm currently using Windows XP SP3 32 bit, using C2D E6320 with 2GB RAM. When I am playing Starcraft 2, I encounter an error where it says my system is running low on page pool memory. Starcraft graphic settings suggested a high settings for me. I do not think it has to do with my GC but with my RAM.

I then made a search to try to rectify the problem. Apparently, it's something to do with my virtual memory. I then proceed to try to the suggested solution which is to temper the registry and limit the page pool memory to 384MB. However, having done so, I still could not achieved it.

I've seen screenshot settings of windows XP with 2GB having 384MB of page pool memory. My default settings puts it at 195MB whereas when I try to increase the pool limit, it can only go to a max of 229MB. I tried increasing my RAM capacity to 3GB but the pool limit still remains.

I like to know how to increase my page pool memory. I've tried searching for solution but to no avail other than the one that I've mentioned above (which didn't solve my problem completely).

Monetary system

I think this is kind of a very interesting topic that hasn't been explored much due to it's inherent complexity. I was hoping that I would have some of my questions answered here :- (in your own simple words without excessive linking if possible, you're welcome however to post as long as you wish, don't mind reading as long as the questions are answered properly in your own words)

1. How does the current monetary system work? (I mean money doesn't drop from the sky but come from somewhere right?, something interesting for you guys to think about) If it's simply too much and too long, maybe how does a central bank function for starters will do good too.

2. Is there a limit to it, I mean like, could it be in such a way that at the end of the day, everybody in the world will be 'wealthy'?

3. Is the current system sustainable?

4. Are there any better alternatives?

5. Are we better off today than yesterday? (not personally but the entire world as a whole)

All your contribution especially educated ones will be sincerely and deeply appreciated by me. Although a little time has passed and many other side discussion has surfaced from the intial discussion, you're still very much welcome to answer the question above as I will still like to hear your opinion/answers.

Speakers with long wiring

I was wondering whether is there a speaker out there for sale that has very long wires, approx 40 feet for both side of the speaker. The speakers need not be very powerful or good so long as it could produce decent sound that meets the requirement of long cables, it's fine.

My guess would be to buy a speakers and the audio cables separately but is this possible as I've not heard of audio cables being sold separately.

Please help, thanks.

Vista keyboard mapping issue

I've recently switch to a new system and has a Windows Vista Home Edition installed. However, I have a problem with the keyboard mappin configuration where everytime I press the @ (shift + 2), I get a " instead and vice versa. But my 2 works fine and my ' works fine too.

I would like to know a way to remap the keys to it's original state.
