Details of the complaint :

-His post was offering a data service with minimal 3g speed and up to 4g/LTE speed.

-The moment I received the items on Monday, 8th September , I set it up and noticed that the speed has been capped to 1.5+kbps and having 1.9kbps maximum if I'm lucky.

-Told him on Monday and followed up until today.

- His response was brief and unsatisfactory, I tried calling him and wouldn't answer. So I told him if there was no final say on this I would open a dispute thread.

- I paid a so called warranty fee for this service, and seems like there's no assurance from the seller right now.

- Seen a few cases opened against him recently painting him as innocent, but now I'm starting to realize that he sucks in communication and is bad with handling customers, current or prospecting ones.

When trust is gone, the sincerity is absent and decisions are hesitated; a black cloud hangs heavily within the skies and I start to realize.

I've been through this so many times, seen it happen just way too much. Forcing things to work, its just as fighting a losing battle. It gets too dirty till it becomes disgusting and you can never unsee what has been seen, never part the salt from the sea, forgetting becomes the hardest things at times and things are just none decent.

Words of others are woven into the thoughts, seeping into the heart and thus begins the wavering of faith. I'm tired of this betrayal, of these accusations, the unknown presence of others, those who provide discord, I have seen and I have handled but it just becomes a tiresome ritual, a pathetic event, a bitter taste in the mouth and a thorn in a seasoned heart. Let those words be spoken, let the lips move with deception and the whispers of distrust circulate, I am but a human being and not a saint to turn the words and thoughts of others.

Purity, honesty, anger, frustration, it would have been a tale of two; just for two to read, share and cherish. A tale of everything life has to provide, concerning the two and no one else. The love and care, the silly contradictions, meaningful arguments and what makes life as it is; the tale of two, as I would always say; bitter and sweet, yet meaningful. Warhammer 40000/Warhammer 40k/40k

Since I could only find the Warhammer 40k PC game thread, I decided to make a new thread concerning its original market; table top gaming. For those who are clueless on what table top gaming is; in short, it is a form of game which is played on a surface, preferably a bunch of tables put together, which consist of miniature terrains such as buildings, ruins, trees and such, you name it! The game consists of rules and guidelines which apply to the current setting of a game.

Summary of Races:

Warhammer 40k takes place far in the future where mankind has evolved technologically within the 41st millennium. Expanding beyond the far reaches of the galaxy, establishing the existence of the vast Imperium, along with their greatest warriors, biologically engineered with advanced technology, the Space Marines. Faithfully guarding the Imperium of mandkind and serving the Emperor.

Within the deepest depths of space lie alien races which pose a threat to the very existence of mankind:

Chaos- Ancient Chaos who eternally seek the destruction and perversion of mankind with corruption and temptation, once successfully divided the Space Marines loyalty claiming half of their Chapters towards the loyalty of the Dark Gods of Chaos further bolstering the void with damned souls.

Eldar- The evasive Eldar, who're really elves in space. This ancient and advanced race once reigned supreme in the corners of the universe but fell victim to their own arrogance and now have dwindled into a dying race desperate in their survival in the universe. Their folly is what gave birth the the fourth Dark Gods of Chaos, Slaanesh, God of pleasure.

Orks- Orks have posed a threat several times towards mankind. A strange race of greenskins with a taste of senseless destruction, this alien race may seem unintelligent and barbaric but their quest for the great WAAAAGH is not something to be overlooked, despite everything, they are strength in numbers and have strange ways of technology which seem ridiculous and unlogical; but due to their psyches it just might work.

Tyranids- Tyranids, biologically enhanced swarms of insect like creatures, consuming worlds of utter existence bolstering the great swarm with these resources, evolving them at astonishing rates creating creatures of pure destruction, mindless and souless ever serving the great swarm which seem unendless, the Imperiums have had several contacts with these horrific creature and none were without casualties.

These would be the main four races in the game but there are a bunch of more races involved.

Conclusion:
On my personal opinion, Warhammer 40k have been influencing several sci-fi universe for the past few decades, one big example would be Starcraft *cough cough* If any of you guys are familiar with the game, you might find devestating resemblance from various of Warhammer 40k's settings which is really quite obvious actually. But despite that, I still love both concerning companies, Blizzard is great without a doubt.

Well, the purpose of me doing this thread is to give people an idea on this great hobby/name, its a tactical based table top game which has a solid setting, great gaming mechanism and the art is superb. I've been wanting to start out a hobby and my passion for 40k was rekindled. The investment would be worthwhile due to its good balance of gaming and expressing your artistic ways with coloring your miniature armies into existance is just priceless!

I was just browsing around for headphones for my new laptop; 'window' shopping some can say and I bumped into this monster. The Sound Blaster World of Warcraft Wireless Headset. I was wondering if its sold here in Malaysia (but I doubt so) The price would be hefty. I love it particularly for its look and well, its made by Creative Sound Blaster. A name I've known during my childhood days when sound cards were as hot as graphic cards.
I'm not a World of Warcraft player, but am a fond gamer of Blizzard, so having this piece of tech would really be a prize for me eventhough the concept is specifically for WoW, but the specs and feats is really tempting, especially for feeding my music addiction. There goes my aim for Razers Headphones *cough cough*

Graphics
i. Just completed benchmarking it with Unigine Heaven 2.0 under Direct3d11, which turned out quite slow. Scored a lousy 259 with an average FPS of 10.3 on high settings with native resolution! I did another check on native resolution with low settings and it gave a score of 329 with PFS of 12.9, which isn't a big difference from the initial score. So the claim that some said that the native resolution was too heavy for the graphic card is now plausible.
Not so decent results, but I haven't tried it with games yet. Maybe I'll try it out with L4D2 since thats the only game I'm currently playing.

ii. Some of the guys here suggested I test it out on 3D Mark 06. Most fortunately, I've been holding an original CD which came along with my Sapphire where I couldn't get it to work on my current desktop. Until just today I got it to run smoothly with much patience. Had a decent rating on optimum settings with a score of 6721 which was what some reviews on the net gave for Nvidia Geforce GT330. It strengthened my faith in my new laptop.

I also attached the benchmark results for anyone who wants to check it out for themselves.

General Usage
Overall, the layout is great with a comfortable keyboard, got used to it quite fast; still craving for back lit ones. Weight is surprisingly lighter than what I expected. The design is sleek and elegant with the huge 17" screen. Sound wise, I bluetoothed an mp3 from my phone; which took awhile to figure out but the sound was below average. Strain it with high volume and there goes the sound, thinking of getting those mini speakers so I can watch movies with my girl, but I'll stick with my headphones at the moment. Battery lasted for about 2 hours with everything on, bluetooth, wifi, downloads etc. So its quite decent for work. OS response so far was good, but I still prefer a better Windows 7 edition with 64x. The DVD drive was running well but creates a buzz when its functioning, nothing to complain about. Overall, a good laptop for work/college, some media entertainment and light gaming which is exactly what I aimed for. To say its worth the 3k? I should say yes, definitely.

Opinion
As for the casing color I got mines changed for free, apart from the great service I was given, the pleasant surprises on the actual speed of delivery and the build itself; despite being a little disappointed about the graphics along with limited customization for Windows 7 Home Basic, all in all, its worth the 3k spent. Concerning the weight of the laptop, I think it weighs the way it looks, not as heavy as expected. Somewhat lite for its size, but rest assured its best to get a backpack for it if you intend to bring it around, the weight will definitely take a toll on your posture so its not advisable to use a sling bag. Skater bags are always huge so it would go well for this laptop. For those who are into the freedom of customizing your OS to your own preference, such as 3rd party themes, customizing windows layout etc, the Windows 7 Home Basic is limited from full customiztion because it is only available for Home Premium and above, so for me, this was quite a disappointment. The best I'm able to do is just change the wallpaper and change the appereance setting which only came with limited colors. It doesn't come with the 'Personalization' shortcut provided by the better versions.

Laptop Bag for teh Vostro:

I just went hunting for a laptop bag and found a sweet deal by someone in the Garage Sales section who was selling laptop bags called Everki. Despite its strange name, the bags looked quite simple and yet stylish for my taste. Well I went to the dealers place this evening at Bangsar, after a tour around Bangsar; lost for a moment, I finally found the place. It was the first turning to the left after the temple at Jalan Bangsar. With much anticipation, I met the dealer, and checked out the backpack. It looked surprisingly small for a 17" bag, which was good. But since the Vostro is quite big, it couldn't fit the edges in. The backpack was slightly smaller for the laptop to fit, even if it did fit, the extra space wouldn't be enough if you were to bring a whole lot of other stuff along. Despite the minor setback there was another model which is meant for 18" laptops, but with less luck. It was out of stock. The price is much expensive than the previous bag I had in mind. But it provides what I need, something to fit the laptop and everything else. So I'll be getting the bag later this Monday, so for those who're having trouble for their bulky/huge laptops, here's a heads up.

Just got the Everki Beacon last night from montell81. It was a swift deal, I came, I saw, I tried and I bought it. Simple and precise. I love the look, I don't really mind its size because the design is quite good. The Dell Vostro fitted perfectly into the bag compartment and there was plenty of space for books and such. I even stuffed in my somewhat cumbersome headphones in. Its quite heavy if you put a lot of things inside, but the weight distribution over the shoulder was somewhat effective, so you wouldn't really feel the actual weight. The only minor downside is I didn't like the way the bag was wrapped around my shoulders, it was a tad wide around my shoulders, if it was slightly narrower it would've been perfect. Despite that, still it was a good deal and a great purchase! Thanks montell81 for the sale!

Been in conflict with myself on buying a reasonable laptop for a price of 3k and firstly, I stumbled on Acer 5470, a brand which I'm quite familiar with but I've had my share of problems with: seemed pretty decent for its pricing, but then lately I bumped into Asus A52JR. But I'm wondering in terms of brand, which is more reliable and satisfactory?
