When I was younger I wish I have mentors to tell me where I can get scholarships to pursue my education. We don't even have internet back in those days

KDU is giving out RM6 million worth of scholarships so start applying since SPM exam is almost over.

Here's the link: http://www.kdu.edu.my/INFODAY/weekendcounsellingform.php

You may check other institutions as well.

I look at this comic strip and it makes me wonder whether students these days choose what they want to study based on their interest or what their parents want? My parents never decide for me. My results did instead of my passion.

KDU Entrepreneurial Design programme

jonjie — Thu, 16 May 2013 02:13:41 +0800

Looks like KDU Damansara Jaya has finally came up with a new design programme (only KDU Penang has design course all these while). Found their blog here: http://kduedd.wordpress.com

This is not your ordinary graphic design, interior design or fashion design course. I know there are a few design + entrepreneurship programmes offered in Singapore. But KDU has taken a bold step by coming up with the Entrepreneurial Design in Diploma programme. First in Malaysia

The programme is not launched yet but I presume it will be offered in June/July/August intake based on the launching date. I've grabbed some information from their blog.

Remember what Bill Gates said about the late Steve Jobs recently? He wished he has Jobs' sense of design.

MYFM "Once A Upon A Time" DJs/Actors So Lansi

jonjie — Wed, 06 Feb 2013 17:31:58 +0800

So farking annoyed by the djs and actors of MYFM who think they are so great. Firstly, they are the one who ASKED for the permission to do a promo for their CNY movie at our instituition. That nevermind but still want to lan si lan yeong requesting for this and that. One of the requests is a guaranteed 100 students.

When they arrived at 2pm, they said the crowd was not good enough and they went for makan-makan at the cafeteria instead of being punctual. That took about 40 minutes and everyone has to wait for them. This is the kind of attitude of the so-called 'celebrities'. Honestly who really listen to MyFM these days? Young Chinese listeners prefers OneFM.
