Need unifi ready firmware fr TPLINK WR841ND

I bought a TPLINK TL-WR841ND router 2 days ago and it was setup and working fine. I then downloaded the latest firmware from TPLINK malaysian site and upgrade it, since then I have problem in configuring the router.

The router came with firmware version: 3.15.9 Build 140528 Rel 65348n
The quick setup provides the 'unifi mode' for selection and setting it up is like a breeze. BUT after upgraded to later firmware TL-WR841ND_v9_150310 , the quick setup menu does not list 'unifi mode' anymore. In the Quick Setup screen, it shows:
=============================
Quick Setup - WAN Connection Type

Auto-Detect
Dynamic IP (Most Common Cases)
Static IP
PPPOE/Russian PPPOE
L2TP/Russian L2TP
PPTP/Russian PPTP
=============================

Before the upgrade there is a Unifi mode that can be selected.

SO my problem now if I'm not sure how to proceed to configure. I tried a couple of firmware version downloaded from TPLINK malaysia site which is lower than what I have upgraded, but result is the same, still can't find Unifi mode available.

Do I need to flush clean the firmware currently in the router first? How to go about doing it?

Where can I download a unifi ready firmware for this router?

Appreciate any advise. Thank you.

Gan

Viva drive shaft problem

Has anyone here encounter noise problem with their Viva, especially when trying to slow down (by pressing the brake), and come to stop? The noise can be 'ka ka ka', or even like something loosening, like at the front bottom right side? The noise usually is not there when the car is cold, but after running a short while, I guess after the car has warmed up, the noise can be heard when car slows down to stop.

I have sent the car to Perodua SC, and was told it's drive shaft problem, and has changed it, not once, but two times. It would be ok for about 2 months before the noise is back. The SC people said it's a known problem. I don't see much discussion about this problem. Just wanted to know if it is only my car, or what?

Appreciate any of your sharings.
Thanks.

Maybank2u intraday trading

Hi!
Anyone here familiar with intradya trading using Maybank2u online stock platform?

I did an intraday trade on 28-Sep-2009, and was told the borkerage rate is 0.15%. That has been confirmed when I called up coz when I see the contract note it still shows 0.49%. When I called up I was told there will be 2nd contract note to make the adjustment. Until today I still have not received the 2nd contract note to indicate the brokerage rate as 0.15%.

The contra gain based on 0.49% brokerage rate has been credited to my account, not calculated based on supposedly 0.15%. I called up and was told it may take a while before I receive the 2nd contract note.

My question is does it usually take so long for Maybank2u online trading to handle intraday trades? It's more than 3 weeks now.

I don't usually do intradday trades, this is my first one.

If anyone here uses maybank2u for intraday trades, please advise if this is normal.

Thank you.

DSL-504T noise problem

I just have my 504T modem/router and am happy with it as it is easy to setup and working fine.

However, I noticed that whenever the line gets connected, the modem gives out some piercing noise continously. The noise stops when I take out the phone line from the modem. Hence I notice it's only when the line is plug in and it gets conencted.

Does anyone else who's using this model having similar problem? Is it because of my phone line? Or is there anything I can do to fix it? Should I asked for a replacement set?

It gets quite annoying when the noise keeps going though it is not too loud, but loud enough to be heard.

Appreciate any advise.

Can't connect using PPPoE, DSL-504T

Broadband provider
ISP/package: 512K
Location: PJ
Have you called your ISP's helpline?:

Personal equipment
Modem: DSL-504T
Router:
Firewall used:

I just installed the D-link DSL-504T modem-router. when I configured it with PPPoE as conenction type, it just does not connect. When I configure it to Bridged connection type (manual dialup from Windows XP), it works fine.

Is there anything I need to setup/configure in order for the PPPoE on the router to work?

Before this modem-router, I was using the HuaWei modem and it was configured with bridge mode. And sometime I need to manually dial many times before I can get connected. It will displayed error 678 a few times before I finally get connected.

Anyone know if there is something I need to report or is there something I can configure for my modem-router to work better?

Thanks.
When I run the speedometer, the program runs and then after 100% completion, it says "Resirecting to results page..." and just stay there. It didn't proceed to display the test results. I have tried that many times and it is the same.

Anyone know if there is any setup that I needs to do?

Thank you.
Gan
