Hey guys,

I am a newbie here no formal education in computer software but want to learn to use this MS Access.

I have a few problems that I will list below so that the gurus will be able to help or point me in the right direction. By the way I have already created a custom table and form for my personal use.

1. The most important question is how to protect the the database and forms so that the user can only input data but cannot change the data.

2. Secondly I would like to have a yes/no check box in my form that if you click yes it would bring up another form. Example is the form will ask you if you need to deliver something and if you click yes then another form will show up asking you deliver to where, date of delivery and so on. How do I do this?

Here goes..I have DVD player that comes with its own 2.1 speaker system. I have connected my 360 to the woofer of the DVD player but I can only have two volumes levels 0 and 1 with 0 being soft and 1 being extremely loud....other volume levels offer no difference. Note that the volume controller is on the DVD player and there is no volume controller on the woofer. Do I need to get the universal 360 remote control or buy seperate speakers to get better control of the volume levels? Would I have the same problem if I bought seperate speakers or PC speakers?

I was just wondering if I connected my 360 to a CRT monitor or any other computer monitor where would the sound come out from? How does the sound get produced cause there aint no speakers on the monitor? Very embarassing question i know......thanks guys.

In an article on gamespot today it was brought to my attention that the latest fall update causes bricking in modded 360's. In other words modded 360's will become expensive paperweights! Additionally there are some rare cases of bricking in unmodded 360's too but its rare.....however this problem can be fixed if sent for repairs....please be warned...and here's the link.............http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=25101615&sid=6160771

Piracy and you

Firstly let me point out that I don't condone stealing and to a certain extent piracy is stealing.

I am starting this topic because I am interested in some opinions on this issue. For example let me start of by saying that for my X360 I have never ever and will never ever plan to buy pirated stuff for it. Never seen the purpose and would never need to. In fact selling and trading on this boards has made it even more economical to buy original.

However, what if by some chance original dvd's become censored so that you do not get full value for your money? For example I am a huge 2-pac fan and I told myself I would buy original when the song ghetto gospel was released. I go to one of the local malls and hook myself up with an original cd and lo and behold it is censored and let me tell you it is a waste of time listening to a censored 2-pac cd.

My argument I guess is that those who do buy original suffer more than those who buy fake stuff. Discuss
