Re-structure loan amount

Dear all sifus,

I plan to buy a new house costly about RM 240,000. The status of the house still under progress right now. I'm little bit disappointed because my commitment per month almost reach 50% from my salary. I have to pay 2 cars costly about RM1,100 per month and asb loan RM 670 per month..

The point here is, the bank guy from Bank Islam offered me to re-structure my whole commitment. He offering me to make a loan about RM 100,000 to settle down all my previous loan and then he can proceed to house financing.

For loan RM 100,000 within ten years payment, commitment about 1,120 per month. And then he calculated for house financing with loan RM 204,000 for 35 years commitment cost RM 986 per month.

I'm still doubt about this, and keep thinking to accept this offer, FYI this only way for me to get a new house.. need advice from you guys..

Mixed-mode Vs. Research

I'm planning to do the Master of Management at UTM next year. Currently, I'm working as a technical executive almost 2 years. I'm decided to the Master programme by off-campus means only weekend class. I'm not really understand by method they used, which is taught course, mixed-mode and research. May some one explain to me what mixed mode is it? What I'm understand, mixed-mode is combination from research and taught course. Correct me if I'm wrong. TYFA
