Nose Hair

Sooooo.... are you constantly bugged by nose hair? Every time you talk you have to reach your nose to scratch it? When you smile, the hair in your nostrils keep tickling each other?

I used to pull my hair with tweezers and cut them if they are too painful. Its messy and painful. Esp for the hair closer to my nose bridge, oh those are really painful to pull out.

Until I discovered Veet.

Lightly applying to my nose (outer nose only), wait for 2mins, then wash inside of nose thoroughly with running water. Nearly all the hair dropped off. The remaining hairs can be extracted using tweezers.

The downside is:
1. its extremely smelly (reminds me of some sulfide chems). you have to breathe in with your mouth, and blow out thru your nosetrils.
2. nose gets itchy after washing... I think its because I applied twice.

The upside is:
1. the inside of your nose becomes so smooth... like baby skin.
2. no more itching....
3. Veet only cost $5.

help me find good specs shop

hi guys, my glasses is about 3 years old and i am looking for a good specs shop.

actually i have wanted to buy specs for so long, but i always get ripped off from the specs shop sometimes every now and then. one time i bought a pair of specs but he cheated me because he put in cheap lens. another time i bought a new pair of glasses but when i took it to another specs shop to check, the coating is poor quality type. no wonder la, when i drove at night, i couldnt see the road because all light sources 'become a big star'.

i never saw properly because my left eye wasn't corrected properly. the spec shops will always tell me that 'my left eye is not as good as my right eye'. so my vision was always blurred and i can never see properly long distance or when driving at night.

until one day, i was in japan and i dropped my cheap glasses. and the lens broke off from the frame. so no choice i had to go to a japanese specs shop in Japan. the first thing i noticed was how friendly the japanese shop assistant was. i chose an all titanium frame and they proceeded to check my eye. first they adjusted for short sightedness, i remembered i was staring at a colorful hotair balloon, the machine auto focus it until it got the right power. then i was taken into a dimly lit room to read the snell charts. i wear a prototype lens that lets the assistant adjust my power. as usual, the assistant tries to get the correct power until my focus is nearly clear. then she puts a different kind of lens and suddenly, i could see the snell charts very clear! i said 'yes! yes! correct!' because i can finally see clearly with the left eye. she writes the setting on a piece of paper and i proceeded to pay. she pointed to me the lens type i could buy and there were 4-5 choices written in japanese. i remembered i chose the 2nd most expensive option. i ask her when can i collect my glasses, she pointed to the clock and using her fingers plus hand motion, i can collect my glasses in 3 hours time! WOW! that was the first time i heard a spec shop can prepare my glasses in 3 hours! i usually get the standard 3 days waiting time in malaysia. When i got the glasses, i could really see long distance and read text very clearly. its no problem driving at night. of course its not 2020 vision but i would say its worth every 35000 Yen i had spent.

3 years later, and i think i should retire my glasses. there are few fine scratches, no cracks on the edges of the half frame glass and the screws didnt come out.

now im thinking to get a new pair of glasses, anyone know a good place with a similar kind of experience in KL? dont want to get cheated, want to get good vision, want good service.

i followed the website to find DDK. i also registered into microsoft connect. but when i entered the place, they didnt put the link to download the DDK. they only put the patches. or i have been looking at the wrong place?

can anyone help me to find a good source?
