WTA: Which tablet most close/on par to ipad

I'd played with ipad (friends & relatives), it's good (graphic, smoothness of apps flow...)
When come to buying one for myself, the price is too over my budget.
So i'd been testing on samsung tab, note, lg tab... they were a bit lacking here and there, like samsung tab: the camera picture quality is so so, samsung note: apps launch and running a bit lag, LG tab: design, Sony tablet Z: price...
I'm an android handphone user (samsung galaxy S2, Ace, S3, Note 2), that's why i'd been testing on those android based tablet. I will use the tablet mostly for games, reading (book, comics) and web surf.
Any recommendation for a tablet model (any brand) with:
1) Price within RM1500
2) 9~10 inch display with atleast 1024 pixel
3) with front Camera, and back camera with "flash" and at least 8.0 megapixel
4) Wifi only, no need 3G
5) extendable storage

Thank you all in advance

Maxis Fiber modem very HOT !

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Maxis Fiber 10m
Location: Raja Uda, Butterworth, Penang -- Condominium
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: HuaWei HG655m - TM
Router: Technicolor TG784n V3 - Maxis
Firewall used: ??

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Since day 1
Problem frequency: 24 Hrs
Problem description:

Since day 1 of installation (Nov), the modem unit (from TM) is hot till it shutdown itself.
I had no choice but to use a cooling fan to cool it down (draw power from Maxis router).
Had call the Maxis CS, they say it's normal to be HOT when it's running.
So i thought it's normal and keep on using it.
On and off (2 times a week) the connection down (model unit's Internet light off), but on again after like 2~3 minutes.
Now I get disconnected more often, and I suspect is because the modem unit too hot.

Is this normal to be hot?
Modem Temperature >38 degree C (i check with the forehead thermo-strip), if feel by palm, i can only touch it for 5 second (without the cooling fan)...
