Maxis Wireless Broadband （Solved)

UPDATE: I HAVE FIGURE THIS OUT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.

Hi, I know this might posted in inappropriate section, but I seriously need advice from Mac User (which I can found the most number of Mac User at this forum, of course). My intention is to get my inquiry solved as I have done research for a few days and there is inadequate information for this.

I'm considering to get myself a maxis wireless broadband package that comes along with PortaFi modem. (FYI), I'm using Macbook and iPad.

1. Can the PortaFi modem works as expected on both my device?

2. What is the difference between PortaFi and MiFi?

3. Any screenshot from PortaFi / MiFi user? (regardless who is the service provider)

Thank you for that.

UPDATE: I HAVE FIGURE THIS OUT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.
Abnormal lagging of Mac

Hello guys. Today was my first month in joining Mac Family. And this was my first time to think negatively in the sense that even my windows XP is faster than mac. (no offence )

So I would like to begin my story with this:

I boot up my MBP. I open my microsoft word. After that, I manually open my Safari 6.0.2 ( I don't make Safari as a login item )

Next, I manually key in URL of facebook and macrumor ( I don't make them as my homepage)

and finally, my computer suddenly experiences a terrible lagging. I can experiences a very significant lagging. The whole system jams. I cannot even switch to desktop 1 / dashboard. The whole system just jams.

You know what? Opening Activity Monitor costs me 10seconds.

And I have a screenshot for that.
[attachmentid=3220564]

If you care to observe, you would notice that are 5 [screencapture]process running simultaneously. Yes, you got it. Even screenshot is also a problem for me. It delays very much.

The whole system just stop responding from me. It took about 30seconds for me to quit safari and get restarted.

So, what is the problem? What is the precaution step that shall I do to prevent such trauma hit my Mac again?

PS:
1. I only running Word and Safari (with 2 tabs)

2. My Safari version is 6.0.2

3. My MBP model is MBP 13' (mid 2012)

4. My HDD still have 460gb of space
