You Should Fall In Love With Someone

Thought I share with fellow CC'ians here who seeking the similar trait in partnership Enjoy Reading.

There’s one trait that I continuously find myself coming back to when it comes to dating: inspiration.

I don’t really care how you spend your time. I mean I hope you have hobbies, and it’d be cool if we have some in common, but as long as you spend your time doing things you enjoy, that’s cool with me. I don’t really care about your education. Do I hope you have one? Absolutely, that’s important to me. But I understand that it isn’t for everyone. Do I care about your job? Nah. But please, please, have a job that you enjoy doing. That’s all.

I really should reiterate. Because I DO care. I care about each and every aspect of you, even the ones I don’t always want to care about or the aspects you wish I wouldn’t care about. I care to know you — and knowing you involves all of those finite details previously mentioned. What I’m saying is that you’ll deviate from what I always envisioned. You won’t have every characteristic I always thought that I wanted in a man. And that’s okay. But there’s one thing I need from you — one thing I really, truly value: I need you to inspire me.

Inspiration in its simplest form, really. I want you to inspire me to be a better person. To push myself — in my career, in my education, in my beliefs, culture, and values. I want you to inspire me to try things I always said I wouldn’t. To read books I never thought I’d like, to go to a place I never wanted to visit, to eat a food I always swore off. I want you to inspire me to be better. Every day. Because although self-motivation is important, sometimes our steam just runs out. Sometimes we need a person running alongside us, telling us we can keep going, that we can cross that finish line.

And I want to inspire you, too. I want to be able to push you. To stretch your limits and make you step outside of your comfort zone. Because inspiration is like a weed when you have the right amount. It grows wildly and quickly, and spreads throughout the surface. When it works, when it really works, we feed off of each other. We make each other better. We consistently try new things and pursue higher heights. That’s…well, that’s inspirational.

And that’s what I hope for. Maybe it’s a bit far-reaching but maybe it really isn’t at all.

Is that not the epitome of every healthy relationship? It’s a loose term: inspiration (and it’s largely open to interpretation). But think about it. Think of some important traits when you envision the perfect relationship: couples who love each other, who try new things together, who make time for each other, who put each other first, who listen to each other, who push each other. And now think about inspiration. What does inspiration make you do? Does it make you care? Love? Push harder and further? Depending on the situation, it certainly does.

Inspiration makes us better. Inspiration makes us want to do something. It moves our emotions, our intellect, our behavior. And is that not what every relationship needs? We need to be influenced to feel happiness and love, influenced to deeply care for someone other than ourselves, influenced to better ourselves while we better those around us. Quite frankly, that sounds pretty healthy to me.

So that’s all I want. And it encompasses so very, very, much, that one little word. Inspiration. 11 letters, 4 syllables, and a different meaning for every person walking this earth. But there’s someone out there — maybe you’ve already found them or maybe you’re still looking — but there’s someone walking around with a bottle of inspiration ready to swirl and mix with your own. To create that perfect recipe that leaves us with a sweet taste in our mouth and a warm feeling in our heart.

Fill your jar. Screw that lid on tight. And unleash that beauty when you’re good and ready.

Be inspired. Inspire others. Our world could use a bit more of that.

My cat injured...Help

Don't know where to post this to ask for advise.

My cat has just returned from her usual daily adventure outside my home, but this time with an injured nose
Heart broken sees her like that..

So it just happened an hour ago, which I observed:
1. She doesn't howl
2. She does find place to hide herself
3. Cries, but only at her right eyes. Which is weird.
4. No licking or anything or dare to clean her paw or scratching herself.

I know she is in pain. The bleeding at her nose has stop, but there are some badly scratches mark near her nose which causes some fur gone. So some advice I got from the net is to clean her wound with water and apply some vaseline which they could lick to provide some ease. But she refuse to be touch
Well. She cries. And she allow me to slowly pet away her tears... but when I try to apply gently the vaseline, she will move away. So ok, she is in stress and I don't want to stress her anymore.

After an hour observation:
1. Now she in my room (first time she allowed enter my room), at first she find place to hide
2. Then she sorta settle at one place.. then move to a carpet (like open area) not really hiding
3. Start licking herself...no cry..
4. Looks like the normal her...
5. Sleeps the way she usually will sleep... she didn't close her eyes unless i pet her head..
6. Now she tries to curl sleep...like hide her head near her feet and no she doesn't sleep like that...

I know she might want to try to hide her pain..and there's no howling no purrrrr to indicate she in a very pain situation. She doesn't really panting. From the net it says will need to observe 1-2 days, if she still hiding then i need to send her to vet.. so am i doing everything right by not touching her, just leave her to be as it is? Cuz' I understand cat has her own healing method from her own saliva. She injured before at her paw, and recovered after 2 days without seeing a vet..jumping, doing her hunter job as usual afterthat. but this time am so worried.

Anyone knows any affordable vet at KL area? Not rich enough to go for 200-300 per visits. Pls help, thank you

There Goes Your Friendship.

All started because I was in happiness.
I was too happy for my close friend who finally expecting.
She's the one that I respect, 'till extent I treated her like a life mentor.
She will be the one I would seek for advice and guidance if I hit any major obstacles in life.
I appreciated her efforts and time and patient to read my email, because that is the way can communicate. and often she always have positive aspect towards life.

I'll send my regards to her time to time, but because I knew she often in stress with her studies in overseas I will not try to bring up that topic unless she wanna talk about it. You will find why there's only "I", and that i did not start with the word her, because I would often initiate conversations. We had talked about this before, and she said she finds that when she say hi to people first make her feel awkward, is her problem. So I understand and I never-mind about that. What is the problem in initiating conversation first if you really treat that someone as your friend? furthermore, as close friend? I must say that in some point of our friendship it has evolved to close friend and I don't simply acknowledge anyone in that category. She is my friend of 6 years.

I knew all the while she may not see me as how I see her, she may just treated me as another good friend of hers. To me, that's good enough.

To simplify, if you wanna find someone who knows my stories, my behavior, my personality, changes, she will be the best choice. Because she is the only one who read and knows my past and present.

I flew to her hometown just for her wedding, running up and down just to make sure everything in order though I'm not her maid of honor, and because all her maid of honor are just too..plainly don't know about Chinese cultures... I cried like I never cried so madly before for someone I called friend during her wedding ceremony, and dinner. I'm so touched and happy for her that finally she walked down the aisle with a great guy. We spend some great time afterthat at her hometown and flew to another country, drinking, enjoying beers by the beach, and also with her other friends. I later then flew to where she studied, experienced my first cold winter ever in life, spent time with her while I'm seeking for some inspirations for my art.

Meeting her personally, talk to her, makes me feel its like a different type of woman that I talked to through the email. Perhaps, she been through a lot in that period and things changed. I find that she quite negative, and easily triggered, those friends we went to have vacations with, she has no longer had contact with them..due to reasons, yes and she tell me all the reasons, everything, and what I did mostly, is just listen. Thus, there's where my observations came up. But that is her relationship with her friends, (I do know some of them too), but I trusted what she says, because that's what friend are for. No doubt, and no point go and seek other person for the whole story. It's past, and it shall leave as it is. In that visit, I got to know she has miscarriage news. I was shocked but same time I remain calm, we talked about it, but I don't wanna show any sympathy or anything to trigger her loss and emotions. I think is the best empathy and what a friend should do, besides, my ears are always ready for her,

So,
All started because I was in happiness.
I was too happy when she told me she'll be expecting.
And same time I worried, but I was really positive. Positive that everything gonna be okay and she will safely deliver the baby next year. I would like to get more prayers for her..and for her baby. And that unfortunate will be a past but it's most memorable one. Furthermore, the baby has reach more than 3 months old.

I posted up at my facebook wall and thank God for such gift to her (nothing about her miscarriage or stuff simply just happiness, and wishes as I was clouded with joy).. and wish friends around could give her some prayers... the messages is not about me..

She saw the post, she thanked,
but same time demanded at the comment publicly to be deleted. So I deleted it and apologize to her personally. And she was mad saying that it's late I should have ask her first, in a way she doesn't accept my apology. So it's okay, I explained to her again why I did it, and I take back my apology... (I was ....really upset already)

...Deep inside my heart she make me feel so bad because she rejected my act of empathy when I was truly happy for her; the happiness feelings is almost the same during her wedding night. Same time, I was hoping she would understand why caused me such action, and why I would do that. She knows me, right? - I start to doubt already when she reacted this way....

...She blamed me for posting that, and says that is her business, that is her call if she wanna ask for people wishes. I did not response any of her non stop hurtful messages, it was on going and I don't have any chance to make my stand. She said I should learn to respect other people, and says what if there's something happened to the baby while I announce to the whole world? She says she shared the news with some of her good friends and didn't have to experience this... and I've caused her so much distress...There's just so much hatred in that messages that I don't even know how to share....

Haha, I teared up instantly at the moment I read all her hurtful words, I did not response any of her messages.
In my mind, I guess she never realize, that I see her as family, someone close...and not just good friends...
(No, am not crying now because I felt there's nothing more worth crying for, it is undeniable there's 'sayang' to loose a friend this way..)

There goes my friendship of 6 years.
If you were me, realize yourself that did a kind but foolish move, will you still try to save this friendship? You saved it once before eventhough that moment she hurt you, put you down infront of other people, and that was 6 years back, will you try again?

I am particular with people especially when come to friends. So assume you have this criteria, what would you do?

I may be foolish, but at least, I was true and honest.

What is your lost?

I start with mine^_^

2013...is the start of the year that I've decided to pursue my passion in art, and it killing me every single day since then. But I'm happy, and most of all I still survive. Because of this decision, I get to spent more time with my family, be it ups and downs, I've gained more than I expect. That is the best thing that ever happened in my life. I am so thankful and blessed. I never get sick for the whole year.

I believe people come and go, and the right one will stay. I don't have any lost beside that I don't have stable income but it was my decision to make and am proud to let go my possible promotion as project manager to pursue my dream.

And I also think we always learn something from other people. Let's hear yours

Last, have a happie yippie awesome posum New Year ahead! May we have brave heart & great health to overcome everything ahead of us in the coming year!

Every guys should go home and hug their wife/gf who still do things for ya, clean your shit, don't mind to share expenses with you even though she may nag you night and day.
Be thankful with who you're with.

I don't like or love people easily but if I like you, then obviously you must be special. But you have to try your very hardest for me to like or love you. I get upset easily and I have a big temper. I have very expensive taste and I enjoy the finer things in life. I am not a simple girl with simple tastes. I believe in capital punishment and I think Australia should re-introduce it to the way criminals are dealt with. I hate red meat and seafood. I am very hygienic and sometimes obsess over cleanliness.

I don't give second chances. I believe giving second chances is like giving a person a second bullet to shoot you with because they missed you the first time. And I certainly don't have 'stupid' written on my forehead. I don’t forgive easily and in some situations I have never forgiven people at all to this day. I don’t trust people easily either so you’re going to have to make the extra effort to gain my trust and most importantly, to keep it.

I am intelligent and witty. I am highly educated and I studied and graduated from the Top 100 Universities in Australia; University of Western Australia (UWA). I also have a degree from Monash University in Melbourne.

I don't have a model figure nor am I super skinny. I don’t aspire to be like models because I am comfortable in my own skin and I like the way I am. Anyone telling me differently will get an earful of my cussing. I believe every girl is beautiful whether they’re a size 6 or 16.

If you're purely after looks and if you want a slim girl I'm not it. That is a physical relationship. I don't do physical relationships because I think it's truly revolting to like someone based on looks.

I love listening to 'dancey' songs (although I hate clubs and discos). My favourites are Alexandra Stan, Jessica Mauboy, Lana Del Rey, Ellie Goulding and Lady Gaga. I also like dubstep music from Pendulum and Gemini.

I love wearing pretty frilly dresses I love wearing flowers in my hair.
I also like to surf the Net, sing, read, write stories, write songs and I aspire to learn the guitar one day I am currently in the middle of writing my own novel so it's pretty exciting for me I like long walks along the beach but only in Winter. I hate summer fiercely.

If you're the type of guy who surfs and is addicted to beaches in summer then you obviously are asking for a death wish. Cancer will take you faster than you can apply the strongest sunscreen.

If I had to choose a dream hobby it would be being an actress. I love acting and I attend drama workshops when I can. I'm not obsessed with the whole goth theme and vampires but I am very much interested in the legends of Dracula and Countess Elizabeth Bathory. I do as much research as I can during my free time and I love nothing more than watching that kind of movie or documentary while munching on choc and chips

I love my family- they are my world- I treasure my friends- I love going to the movies from time to time. I love shopping and eating out as well. I work fulltime as a retail manager and I love it. I work hard and enjoy my job.

My ultimate life goal is to get married and have children.

Just because I'm an Asian girl, it doesn't mean I am subservient or shy. I defy the Asian girl stereotype and I don't do as I am told. I bend the rules, I speak up and won't take crap from people. I am not submissive in any way.

I don't drink , I don’t smoke and I don’t do drugs.

I HATE guys who smoke. That is something I simply will not accept. I think smoking is a vulgar habit so if you smoke, don't bother contacting me. And if you lie about it I WILL find out. I always find out peoples' secrets one way or the other. And I can generally tell if people are lying to me.

I am a human lie detector and nothing gets passed me. I notice everything, even the tiniest of things like the tone in your voice when you speak to me. If someone looks a bit suss to me, he probably is.

I also HATE guys who drink. I don't care if it's a quarter of a glass or 3 jugs, drinking is drinking. There is no point in telling me, 'But I only drink a little and not often.' If you absolutely have to drink, I suggest quitting it before contacting me. And if you drink discreetly, same thing as above...I WILL find out and I will leave you on the spot. If you’re the sort of guy who likes to unwind by having a million beers after work, there’s the door.

I will not tolerate inappropriate behavior such as swearing and making racist and sexist remarks. I don't like being taken advantage of, a relationship that is full of dramas and arguments, guys just looking to get into bed with me. SO NOT ON. I don't appreciate mind games either and I hate liars.

I also don't like guys with tattoos and piercings. That might be a way of expressing yourself but I don’t think you actually need to de-face your body to do that. If you’re into that kind of stuff please don’t contact me. I find tattoos and piercings truly disgusting.

I HATE clubs/pubs/discos/loud concerts. I am not a ‘let’s party and get laid’ type of girl. If you want a party bimbo you're looking at the wrong girl mate.

I don't like dogs. I hate living with them. So if I ever get to a point where I am living with a guy and he has a dog/dogs, it or they are going to have to go. If you choose a dog over me, well firstly you're dumb enough to let a great girl go and secondly, you will never get me back so you might as well marry your dog.

If you're a gym junkie and workout everyday and are obsessive about your appearance, that’s not what I’m looking for in a guy. I’d like a non-sporty kind of guy- one who isn’t obsessive about sports- that can get really annoying.

I HATE outdoor activities with passion so if you're the adventure-seeking type and loves camping and hiking and other outdoor stuff we're not going to get along.

I don't believe in sex before marriage. I think sex before marriage is wrong, immoral and disgusting. If you've 'done it' many times with plenty of girls or if you are the 'playboy I sleep around' type, you're so not the guy for me. I think you should probably stick to girls who have no morals or values.

I do not believe in pre-nuptial agreements. And I will not sign one when I am about to get married. I stick by : "What's mine is mine and what's your's is mine too".

I have very high standards and I have a set criteria for every single guy I meet and I stick to it. There are no exceptions and no straying from it.

I don't like guys walking in and out of my life- you cannot come and go as you please. You either stick around and never leave or just don't contact me in the first place. It's simple. I don't accept 'part-time' people in my life. I deserve better than that.

What I'm Looking For

Hmm, let's see....I have a pretty long list but essentially I want a boyfriend who will potentially become a husband. He must be good-looking (or at least decent-looking), clean, hygenic, caring, generous, loyal and faithful. He must be patient, tolerant, kind, honest, trusting, gentle and respectful. He must also be hard-working and committed and dedicated to building a future with me and giving me a luxurious comfortable life.

I will not entertain sleazy guys, rude idiots or guys that are full of themselves. There's a fine line between self-confidence and arrogance.

I want a guy free from his past relationships and ready to commit to me and me only. His relationship history must be exactly that: history. He must not linger on thoughts and feelings for this past girlfriends. Make sure you completely get over them first. He must only have eyes and the heart for me. I will not settle for less.

I want a guy who will financially provide for me. And I must be able to choose if I want to work or not. A genuinely nice guy will give me that freedom of choice. And if I work, I should get to keep what I earn all to myself. If you're scared of that, then you're not the guy for me and you should probably bugger off right about now.

I'll tell you upfront that I am looking for a rich guy. He must be financially able to pay for EVERYTHING- bills, petrol, groceries, mortgage, kids, wedding, honeymoon, etc...and I should not have to pitch in a single cent.

I am NOT paying for anything. With me, there is no such thing as ‘going halves’, ‘you pay this, I pay that’ or 'let's split the expenses'- none of that nonsense. He MUST have a high-paying, secure and a proper job. So working at Maccas is definitely out of the question. I don't mind having a partner who works away (eg: in the mines).

He also must not go to pubs and clubs at all- I absolutely forbid it and he must not contact or go out with female friends. I don’t have any friends who are guys and I want a guy who doesn’t have any female friends either. If you want to keep them, don’t contact me. He absolutely must not be into disgusting things like pornography.

Also, with all due respect, please don't contact me if you are physically disabled in any shape or form. Frankly I don’t want to spend the rest of my precious life nursing a man child with a condition.

I am NOT getting into a relationship where I just live with the guy forever and never get an engagement ring and never get married. I'm not that type of girl. And I am most certainly am not a loose cannon like most girls are. “If you like it you should have put a ring on it.”

I have very Asian values and I take relationships and marriage very seriously.

I want a guy who finds me irresistibly cute and beautiful even when I have trackies and no make-up on. The perfect guy for me would be the type that loves me whether I look glamorous or not. If he even 'hints' about it, it's 'bye bye' forever. I mean it.

I must be number 1 in your life. I must come before anything and anyone else. I will not accept anything less. I must always be a priority. I will not take the back seat. If you think you’re going to struggle putting me number one, I won’t be interested in talking to you.

I have a group of friends which we occasionally meet for movies. And one of them has indirectly hint/confess his feelings on me.
I do not like to hurt people and instead, let things past (as an answer that I am not interested with you).
Anything that he asked which I feel not too intimidating, or too friendly, I will speak to him. If not, I rather not reply.

And I will not avoid to go out for movies with these friends even he is around. What am trying to do is just to remain as it is. When you do not like someone, you ain't need to be enemy, right? So I would still reply his whatsapp occasionally if things matters with the group.

So recently, we have this outing and I arrived earlier to have something before the movies. My friends and me came to the mall in a different time but one of the couple reached once I touch down the parking lot so I suggest to meet at this place for lunch and see if they wanna join. But....unfortunately, my couple friend can't make it because her bf's bump to his brother in the mall and they decide to hv tea somewhere nearby.

Anyway, my case is, so I ended alone, but am totally fine, what I did not expect was I've already informed people in the group through whatsapp that I'm at this place, so this guy came along. In my mind was like oh gosh I hope another person join in soon but too bad my another friend could only make it during movie starts. Haahhaa... So..during the whole lunch, I did not wanna bother him much and I was trying to be really really busy with my fone...actually I am haha, usually during meal I don't use my phone much because it's manners. But I have to do it infront of him hahaha... Yeah to avoid more conversations.

So...guys in /k troll whatever you want, but I don't expect this to happen. Writing this not making me feel guilty but rather ask how to be more ...less mean? You may wonder why can't you just treat him like your other friend, I can't. Because I can sense he still like me and he is a good boy type of guy so I can't reject him directly in the face some more we are still friends. Urhm, example when I suggest to have something on for the new year and stuff, he called me twice in a day. Usually he would just ask me thru whatsapp. Actually I've already tried ignored his first call, but after he called again, I think probably he needs help so I picked it up but after that conversation..he called again..which I have no idea why. And I ignored lo..

Idk to me guys they will keep on going if they don't see red light. So I guess what I did during the dine, was an obvious red. As I was really uncomfortable to be around him 'till I can't help it keep being busy with my phone and laugh and happy when other ppl called me..but being rather quiet and expressionless when he ask me things..

one thing i must say it is obvious red when he noticed that am happy and laugh during a conversation, he said he's hurt. I said why you hurt, you are eating. I don't really know how to reply actually. =/

so..how would you handle such awkward situation? but less hurtful.

Well, I've been doing my own stuff relates to artwork and I charge. And this friend of mine he intro another friend of his to my service.
So his friend came and do all the inquiries & charges, but it wasn't a done deal.
And because I consider myself still new in business,
I don't know if I should share the info with this friend when he asked me what was my charges and all. I did thank him in prior after I knew he helped me by intro tho.

Idk why I feel reluctant to share the info he ain't competitor but ..Idk..

If there's someone you cannot let go, try your hardest to forget but you can't and you've finally decided to do something about it as in write to that person when you free (eventho you'll noe the person may not reply) and let the person know that you are waiting for the call (and yes, eventho you don't know when or whether the person would call), will you still keep waiting ? ..and now my LCD keep blinking telling me the zoom is inaccurate
I can't adjust the zoom
Am not really good with my flash, is there anything I can do in order that I can adjust my zoom manually again and make my LCD stop blinking? Advice and help is really much appreciated..
