Just got my Maxis Fibre 300Mbps installed today and realized that they dont assign Public IPs by default. Called CS and was told that I have to pay RM10 for a public IP. Is this the case for everyone? I googled and for most people saying its free.

Problem details
First occurence of problem: After upgrading from 1mbps to 4mbps
Problem frequency: Since the upgrade.
Problem description: Speedtest not showing 70% of my subscription speed and im only getting average 1.7Mbps.
