Insurans for stolen car

Wanna ask insurans expert here. If someone park a car at the roadside in any open taman perumahan(not in any designated parking) and his car got stolen, will insurans pay the victim for the loss? Assuming that he lock his car properly but without any extra lock for example steering or gear lock.

Can the insurans company claim negligence on the victim part?

3 malaysian professors listed
taken from nst

PETALING JAYA: Three Malaysian academics are among the world’s leading scientific minds, according to a report by business information firm Thomson Reuters.

Titled The World's Most Influential Scientific Minds: 2014, it is the third such list by the firm, with the first published in 2001.

The local scholars honoured were Prof Dr Abdul Latif Ahmad from Universiti Sains Malaysia’s school of chemical engineering, Prof Dr Ishak Hakim from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s science and technology faculty and Prof Dr Saidur Rahman from University Malaya’s engineering faculty.

In a press release, Thomson Reuters stated that those in the list had earned their distinction by publishing the highest number of articles that were most frequently cited by fellow researchers.

The global list, also known as the Highly Cited Researchers report, featured about 3,200 individuals who published the greatest number of highly-cited papers in one of 21 broad fields from 2002 to 2012.

The longer-range study, which updates the world’s most influential researchers listing, saw analysts from the New York-based firm studying citation data over 11 years.

“By analysing these citation connections, one can identify the most impactful people, publications, programs, and more. The listings in Highly Cited Researchers truly reflect positive assessment by peers,” said Thomson Reuters Scientific and Scholarly Research managing director Gordon Macomber.

This was achieved by tracking authors who published numerous articles that ranked among the top 1% of the most cited in their respective fields in the given year of publication.

Researchers named had produced high-impact work that the scientific community judged to be significant and useful in their fields.

Fox Plans To Open Theme Park In 2016(genting)

Fox Plans To Open Theme Park In 2016, Will Include ‘Life Of Pi’ And ‘Ice Age’ Themed Attractions
By Treye Green
on July 27 2013 7:31 PM

Life of Pi
Fox’s planned theme park in Malaysia will feature attractions based on some of its studio’s biggest films, including “Life of Pi.” Fox
If you’ve ever dreamed of taking a “Life of Pi”-inspired journey, the 20th Century Fox Consumer Products unit of the recently renamed 21st Century Fox Inc. (NASDAQ:FOXA) has you covered. Fox and Resorts World Genting announced jointly they plan to open a 25-acre theme park in Malaysia in 2016. The park will include attractions inspired not only by “Life of Pi” but also by “Alien,” “Rio” and other Fox films.

More than 25 attractions based on Fox films of differing genres are expected to be featured at the new theme park. The partnering companies also plan to incorporate an animatronic parade with a mashup of various movie characters. The current site of Malaysia’s Genting Outdoor Theme Park will be overhauled for the new park, starting in September. The renovations will cost about $125 million, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“For the first time, audiences will soon be transported into the worlds of their favorite 20th Century Fox properties,” Jeffrey Godsick, president of Fox Consumer Products, said in the companies’ joint statement. “Brought to life by our partner Resorts World Genting, this theme park marks the launch of our global location-based entertainment strategy.”

Fox’s last attempt at launching a theme park was with Fox Studios Backlot, a park launched in Australia back in 1999, as the Hollywood Reporter said. The venture wasn’t successful, though, with the park closing after only two years of operation. However, Fox has licensing deals with other theme parks. They include a deal with the Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS) to build an “Avatar”-themed ride in Orlando, Fla., as Deadline said.

in b4 slow
