"Cob-web" effect on my photos

Hi,

I have been experiencing this cob-web thing appearing on some of my pictures (taken with my nikon D40).
It is more obvious only when i m taking photos where the sun/light source is shining directly to my lens.

I have already sent both my D40 body and lens for cleaning but i m still experiencing this in my photos. Any of you ever experience it? Do you think it could be something wrong with my sensor? Any advice is very much appreciated!

do u guys make it a habit to drop a thank u mesage for the interviewer after an interview?
isit a norm in malaysia?

cos i just recently attended an interview...the company actually paid for my flight tickets to attend the interview..
so i just thought it would be nice to say thanks to the interviewer for the opportunity etc...

but someone told me i m only making myself sound desperate

i am currently writing paid posts for socialspark.com and used to write for payperpost until google spanekd me with PR0

i wrote 2 posts for bloggerwave but they hv never paid me
so i assumed thats a scam...

Perl-CGI SQL Problem

hi guys,

i am developing a perl cgi web application which needs to insert some data into my oracle database.
I am facing a problem where values with a single quote character (') will generate some errors when i try to insert that value into the database.

to insert rows into my database i use a perl function with sql that's something like this:

$sql .= "INSERT INTO table_name ";
$sql .= "(FIELD_NAME)";
$sql .= "VALUES ('$text');

so let's say my $text has a value of "DON'T TYPE" with a single quote...it will have some error bcos my sql also has a single quote there...hope you guys understand what im talking about

i cannot encode the ' character before storing into the database bcos my boss don wanto see any 'weird' chars in the database...
so what do u guys suggest?

im still debating between Nikon D40 and Powershot S5 IS...for a differnece of rm600++ u think isit more advisable to get myself a beginner DSLR camera?? it seems that S5 IS has quite good enough specs already...

here's a scenario...

i have a function A calling function B.Function B does some checking and if certain criteria is not met...function B must stop and function A must also stop processing all lines after the line calling function B

Tried exit(1) but it gave me some errors.

Any idea how to do this??

Golden retrievers...hyperactive?

hi all,

recently a family friend gave us a mixed breed golden retriever puppy...and this was the first time we actually saw such a HYPER dog!

she will be running around tearing everything in her sight and makign a mess of everything! and she also seem to be hungry everytime! evne tho we feed her regularly...

we r keeping 2 other shih tzus as well and hv been keeping dogs of other breeds for a few yrs but never hv we seen such a hyper dog! up to the point that my mom has been threatening to give her away!

people hv been telling us that thats the nature of golden retrievers....is that true?
