http://forum.lowyat.net/ Fri, 16 Oct 2026 02:34:17 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3097360 <br /><br />Indonesia&#39;s PT PAL has been selected to construct two strategic sealift vessels (SSVs) for the Philippine Navy (PN).<br /><br />PT PAL executive Edy Andarto told IHS Jane&#39;s on 10 January that the company has received a notice of award (NoA) from the PN to build the ships, and that a contract will be signed soon.<br /><br />Andarto also confirmed that PT PAL had offered the PN an SSV design based loosely on the Makassar-class landing platform docks (LPDs) that the company constructed for the Indonesian Navy.
