astro problem

sorry if this isnt the right place, but I am having the following problem:

I can turn on the decoder only up until the clock shows time. Once I try to turn on, it will then shows -.-; then blank, then shows the clock back.

Any idea what might happened?

Hi All,

One of my friend work for big MNC company as a programmer. He told me, he got a pay rise of 50% a week ago, although he work for only 5 months since he graduated.
He started with salary of 2.5k.

I'm working for a different MNC company related to IT as a programmer. Performance wise, I got a good feedback from people I've been working with, (customer, project leader, project manager) and my boss informed me that he got a long term plan for me in this company. He already offered me 30% payrise. At first, I tought its already much enough.

Should I nego or not. Anyone with any experience with this, I would appreciate if you can share your view.

Now, I want to make compulsory for each StartDate and EndDate true if there is a value for either one.
Let say if StartDate is defined, than EndDate compulsory attribute should be true and vice versa.
Anyway I can perform this?

I'm shocked.. I got this job offered to me to be a System Engineer. And the salary stated there is 20k per month. I mean really 20 00000. Is this a scam or what?
for you info, I got a full scholarship offer to pursue my master study oversea sponsored by Saudi's Govenment. Then all of the sudden, I got this offer letter. It stated that, after I finish my master, I can straight away working with them. The company name is Aramco. Anyone ever heard of this company?

I got problem with my windows media player.. it use all 100% CPU resource.. when i check, wmp.dll!Ordinal3003+0x14cb9 is the one who use 100%.. anyone know how to fix this?

In my college, I got this wireless network. I have a wired and wireless network. Both have internet connection, but the wired one is faster. I there any way I can choose which connection should my IE or firefox used to connect to the Internet?
