From where can I get these food ingredients?

Hello guys,

Where do I find these items in PJ / KL?

1) Non Processed Almonds
2) Non Processed Macadamia nuts
3) Coconut Oil
4) Flaxseed Oil
5) Different type of cheese (Mozarella , cheddar, Full cream) *Not the one you get in giant, or small shops.
6) Ground beef / beef patty (Should be ones with fat, and not lean)
7) Bacon (Pork)

Basically I need these in large quantities. So your help in helping me find even one of them would be much appreciated.

Just some info to add:

1) The almonds and Macadamia should be the ones which are unsalted, and not processed. It shouldn't be in a mix, like those tidbits that you see in the petrol station as those are not healthy.

2) The Cheese should be like the ones sold in cold storage, but if possible cheaper as I would need large amounts.

3) The ground beef should be fatty. The ones that I have seen in Publika dutamas and Bangsar Village are labeled "weight watchers minced beef" which should probably be 85% lean beef + 15% fat. If possible, I would like it to be more fatty than lean.

4) The bacon should also be fatty and not the "less fat" ones. I have seen them in publika, but if there are better deals, eg: cheaper price for a large quantity, i would like to know where I could get it.

That is all

Thank you.

[WTA] Where to repair my HT receiver

Hello,

I own an old receiver (Niro nakamichi 6.1 / Niro TWO 6.1)

Just recently it started developing an issue where the sound would cut off every second. I thought it was the speaker issue, so i removed all speakers and tried one by one. Still the same.

Then, I assumed perhaps it was the optical fiber cable issue, but when i switch to the FM, the sound was cutting off too, so I assume it's an internal issue.

I would like to send it for repairs if possible.

Do you guys know where I could send my unit to be inspected and repaired?

Thank you in advance.

Sirloin Steak

Hello,

I recently took a liking to Steak for protein. I could prepare them myself and they taste really well. So I plan to balance it between chicken so I don't get bored easily.

The trouble is, I am getting it at Giant mall at RM15 per piece (298 grams) Australian beef.

Are the cheaper options? If so, where can i find them within PJ area?

Question about weight lifting

Guys, I have a question.

Say I am lifting a barbell.

On the left side it is stacked with 10KG of weight. On the right side, another 10KG.

Would I record it down as lifting 10KG or would it be 20KG?

Same thing with the cables.

If i were to pull 10KGs on the left, and 10KGs on the right,

would i be pulling 10KGs or 20KGs?

Thank you in advance.

[WTA] Dell U2913WM

Hello all.

I am planning to get this monitor, replacing my 24" monitor.

I know this monitor has a non-standard aspect ratio where it is winder than it is tall.

Most of my usage is on tv shows, movies and reading stuff online.

My main concern is my Tv shows. They are all in the 16:9 Format.

When I play them in my 16:10 monitor, there would be black bars but forcing the aspect ratio to 16:10 usually plays it at full screen. So far no issue in terms of stretch or video quality.

I was wondering, can i do the same on the U2913WM where i can force 16:9 media files to fill up the screen?

Recomend me a Plasma TV (Any size above 32")

Hello guys,

I am planning to upgrade my setup.

Why plasma? I like deep blacks on screen, instead of the greyish black.

Not sure if my budget is sufficient, but I would like a 1080P panel. I will also use it as my computer monitor. So basically, 60% reading / browsing online, 40% watching shows / movies.

Is there one suitable for my budget?

Please rate my supplements

Hello guys,

My goal is for me to reduce my body's fat % (especially the belly and love handles) and to build muscles as well. I started going to the gym early this year and for now, I commit to at least 4 - 5 days a week.

I am 24 years old, 91KGs (201lbs) and 187cm in height.

I used to have rice daily , and almost for every meal (Lunch & Dinner). Now it is reduced to about 2 times a week (On my rest days, Saturday & Sunday). The rest of the days, I try to have meat and bread staying within my daily colorie intake.

I did some reading and came up with a few supplements to aid me.

Scivation XTEND™
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein
MusclePharm Creatine
USP LABS SUPERCISSUS RX
Universal Nutrition: Animal Omega
Primaforce Pure ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid)
API Fat Burner Advanced

Bought New Phone but faulty

Hello guys,

I went to a shop to buy a phone. The owners are very popular on lelong and perhaps here too.

Now there is an issue with the wifi as it is faulty.

It has been less than 24 hours and the phone is brand new.

I called them and stated that i want a 1 to 1 exchange. The phone is an AP set where they told me i have to send for service and it'll take up to 2 weeks.

Then i argued and they told me , even if i were to buy an apple phone, and went to Apple's store, I would have to wait for 10 days for them to service it and so on.

I just want to know my rights here. Am i without a choice of just giving them the phone and wait for that period of time to get it repaired when it is brand new, or can i fight to obtain a brand new set?

Beginner @ the gym / bodybuilding

Hello guys,

I am around the age of 24. Prior to this, my main daily diet consist of meat, lots of rice and almost no vegetables. I don't take fruits as well. I weight about 91KG and my height is about 187cm. Due to my height, I don't look fat, however, I have love handles which I am trying to get rid of and my body fat % is rather high, around 25%.

I joined the gym around early this year, and have hired a personal trainer. He shows me how to use the machines and how to avoid from being injured. I can see small bumps of muscles on my arm (Though I have to flex) and this is a great motivation. Nothing like seeing results after your hard work. I go to the gym mainly on the weekdays. At minimum, 4 times. Maximum 5 times a week.

When I started, I was really weak. I took up a form of martial arts back in 2009 for about 2 years, however have to give it up when I started working. For a whole year, I did nothing but work, eat , sleep and hang out. Then I started my studies again which pushed me to fix myself. When I started, for the first few sessions, I had trouble using the machines. My arms were pretty weak and after a few reps, they felt numb. My instructor noticed this and designed fitness plan for me. So when I had my sessions with him, I would go through his fitness training. Every other day, I would go to the gym, and work on the machines my self.

Eventually my arms grew stronger and now I can use the machines and lift weight without much fuss and complete a few sets.

What I do when I go to the gym:

-Cardio (fast paced walking on the treadmill) 10 Minutes

-Work on my muscles (Arms, Chest etc, depending on the muscle group to work out) 1 - 2 Hours

-Cardio (Elliptical trainer) 45 minutes, usually about 400+ Calories burnt

I am not taking any supplements at the moment. I am at the gym at the evening, so I would usually have my dinner there as well since it's located in a Mall. I would have 1 plate of Chicken Rice , with 2 plates of Chicken. Basically , no breakfast, Dinner would be rice with grilled chicken + Beef/lamb (Iranian Food).

I wanted to cut down on my body fat and eat healthily. I started to have breakfast, 1 cup of green tea + Julie's Oat 25 Strawberry Biscuit ( 1 packet)

I got myself a portable blender / juicer last week and I make my personal shake which consist of:

- MariGold Peel Fresh Power Berries juice

- Bananas (2 Pieces)

- Skimmed / Low fat Milk

- Nestle berry yogurt.

I usually drink it after my work out in the gym, and later when I have my dinner. I will order a proper juicer later to start juicing vegetables. I tried it with the blender, but the pulp makes me want to puke.

My question is, what should I eat daily to reduce my body fat % without sacrificing my energy when I am in the gym?

Would anyone be able to list down some sort of a plan that I could follow on a daily basis? I read about nutrients on a bodybuilding forum but I don't know where to get most of the stuff listed there so I would like to get it from a Malaysian's Perspective.

TLDR Version:

I need someone to list down what to eat on a daily basis (Lunch / Dinner) to cut down my body fat that is about 25%.

Thank you very much for reading this

Sharp 39" LED TV (Considering to buy)

Hello guys,

I was at a shop and was looking at the TVs when i saw this model. It looked quite attractive, same goes with the pricing. I thought, perhaps the color reproduction wouldn't be as good as the other models, but I compared it with a few other TVs that were beside (Playing the same content via linked HDMI) and couldn't notice a difference in the color reproduction.

A forumer is selling it for around RM1290 so i thought that it's a good deal. I am not going to use it for Astro or TV. It will be connected to my computer and used only for watching tv shows movies (720P / 1080P). Should I commit to this purchase or is there a better alternative?

This is my first time shopping for a TV. Is there anything that i need to test / look out for?
