One of my employees got tested positive for Covid at office. What should I do now?

1. Office lockdown for 14 days
2. Get everyone tested
3. Sanitize? Who do I contact to get the whole office sanitized?

I remember Lelong used to dominate the E-Commerce industry 10-12 years ago, way before there was even Shopee or Lazada. Their flawed bidding feature made Lelong extremely popular back then. They were too comfortable until Shopee and Lazada just suddenly come crushing them down.

A few reasons why Lelong fell from grace:
1. They were too busy focusing on providing stupid, useless, crappy startup "ECommerce Class" on how to sell on their website
2. Their design suck ass (even until today)
3. Sellers literally need to PAY for membership to sell on Lelong (can you imagine that happening now?)
4. They spend money to build LMALL that no one has ever heard of
5. No social media presence
6. Whole company is run by some old cina ah pek who doesn't innovate or catch up with modern trends

My current home's phone wall socket is at the living room.

How can I move this wall socket to my room? And is it going to be expensive?

I know you can connect LAN cable but the distance from my living room to my room is quite far. It's going to be very ugly.

CNY is just around the corner. I'm a chinese and back in my kampung, my parents usually give stuff (like oranges, handmade cookies, bakwa etc) to friends and relatives as "xiao yi shi" (small token of appreciation) during CNY.

Is it weird if I buy boxes of mandarin oranges and give to my friends before CNY? 1 box enough? Does the tradition apply here in KL?

If this is also the norm, what do you guys usually give?

So I have been in the hunt for a second hand macbook pro (for work purposes). I have tried searching high and low and finally found one that is the best for value. However, I find it a little shady when the seller sends me these screen shots. If you refer photo 2 and 3, it seems like the serial number are both different. Is this seller a scammer? Why is the serial number in photo 2 and 3 different ?

Can someone please help? Is this seller a scammer?

How can I make sure the seller is not scammer? What info can I ask from him?

My friend's company has been providing website design or development services for more than 5 years now. Very established with loyal clients base.

So, he had a project with a very big company (let's just called it Company A).

In his proposal, he stated timeline to complete is 1 month. But in the entire process, he came out with at least 10 designs and finally they decided to go for Design 5. This part alone has taken around 4 weeks time (Well nothing can be proceeded really because design part was not even approved yet). Was instructed to complete 3 complete sites half way instead of 1 as agreed on earlier but eventually complete 1 anyway.

Now that it is completed, they say delay and work not nice. They want to request a refund or sue him with their legal department.

Allegedly designer's mistake:
1. Exceeded timeline (Had to come out with 10 designs, designs were consistently rejected, instructed to complete 3 full complete websites half way, then asked to complete 1 only in the end)
2. Missed phone calls a few times on several occasions
3. Client claimed work is not nice enough

Terms & Conditions set out by designer clearly states that:

I just got together with this girl and she is absolutely lovely. She had an ex back when she was studying in UK and they sort of broke up because she finished her studies and had to go back to Malaysia. I think they never officially break up and sort of just lose contact because of the long distance.

So, I was told that her ex is coming over to Malaysia to visit her family back in Terengganu first and then coming over to KL. He will be staying over at her place for 5 days/nights. She owns the whole apartment to herself so she has plenty of space there. He has already planned the trip even before I met her.

Honestly, I don't feel comfortable at all even though she keeps on asking me to trust her and that she has already broke up with him. I don't believe that two people who used to be couples before can stay in the same house together and have nothing happen in between for 5 freaking days.

So, what do you guys think? We just got together and I don't want to sound like I'm that sort of insecure guys but god dammit I just don't feel good about this. I know for sure even if she wants to cheat on me, it'd happen one way or the other. How can I tell her about this? I can't let this happen right?

Quarrel with Driving Center

Hey guys, I got into a quarrel for quite a while with my driving center now. I'm already 20+ and reason why I started taking my test so late was because my elder brother got into a car accident when I was in high school and my parents were quite paranoid about me driving.

Okay, so here's the story:

1. I registered myself for driving test. Passed Part A (3 point turn etc etc) but failed Part B.

(Due to work and study life, I only started to do a retest after 6 months. I asked the center to help me arrange retest again. I send in documents everything but the guy macam don't give a fck. Weeks after weeks, months after months... Delay and delay)

2. Second time I go, JPJ officer failed me again (No freaking clue why)

(This time ask me submit documents and all again. So I emailed him directly. But he tak apa attitude made me missed out several test again. Weeks after weeks, months after months... Delay and delay)

3. Third time I go, I make sure I get this done and over with. I paid 'Extra Money' to my center to ask him help me settle (Guarantee Pass)

4. Finally I passed already. But when my license didn't issue out, JPJ told me my Part A expired already (The center basically dragged me for more than 6 months)

All in all, I have renewed my L license THREE times already. Three f***king time.

3 weeks ago, he asked me to sit for the test again and this time he do it for me for free because he admitted he dragged me so long. However, I have a very important appointment to attend to so I couldn't make it. But he say already booked for me.

I asked him to rearrange to another time which is next month but he say I need to pay this time.

I was like wtf. You dragged me so long, wasted all my time, money and petrol. And just because of that ONE time I couldn't make it, now I have to pay???

Do you guys think this is fair? I wasted so many time, money and petrol on this center. I fcking dulan already.

P/S: I just did a quick google search on them and they already have previous complaints about them.

Islamophobia

I somehow agree (If anything, Islam has a phobia about anything not islam).

Throughout my many years of living in this world, I do realize that the religion is kind of sensitive. If we were to make the slightest joke on the religion, we either get thrown into prison or threatened to have our citizenship revoked. Sometimes I feel the actions taken by them are very unreasonable.

I come from a buddhist family background and people sometimes say my religion is evil, i pray to the wrong god, and etc but I don't really care. I know my own belief and my will is strong.

What I want to say is that, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.

So, k, please enlighten me.

Why is it so sensitive and serious when it comes to this religion?
