Custom network settings Win 7 multiple WAN

ISP/package: Time / company
Location: Penang
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Not related

Personal equipment
Modem: Company LAN / Maxis Broadband
Router: Not related
Firewall used: Not related

Problem details

We got a spare box in the office where we remote in and do stuff.
This box is connected via Company's LAN / network, which is great. We can Remote in to this box, no problem.

Now, we have a Maxis Broadband USB stick, I need some routing guidelines for Windows 7.

Is it possible to route:

Internal traffic (ip range 10.x.x.x) to Ethernet
External internet traffic (yahoo, google, etc) to Maxis broadband?

What files need to be changed? Which settings need to be tweaked?

Would a hostfile change do the trick? Or do we have to dig deeper into the Windows networking underpinnings?

U Mobile and Facebook iOS problem

I subscribed to U Mobile broadband. Everything works fine except for one thing. The iOS Facebook app fails to connect showing a Network error. Other apps on the iPhone works fine (over wifi).

My setup: USB Dongle connected to MR-3420 (TP-Link) router.

Any help?

Is it difficult to port to another Telco?

My 2 year Digi contract is almost over.

The plan is RM 88, 1GB, 100 min&SMS.

I plan to port to U Mobile 018, their plan is RM 28 for 1GB Data.

1. How's their service?
2. What's the procedure to port over my postpaid line? Anything to watch out for?

Can I just go to U Mobile office to get this sorted out? I have no outstanding payments due.

And, to use the RM 330 memory, 4GB DDR2 800 from All IT module (for a total of 8GB in 2 slots)

I plan to Hackintosh it Will slap in a 1.5TB Western Digital to complete the upgrade.

I wrote a blog post about Student's Perception

Some colleges advertise so much that students perceive this college as being the best.

While there is some weight to it, it might not be the whole picture.

I came from Taylor's. Just finished a degree recently. I enjoyed my experience.

I'm just curious how do you guys perceive your universities and colleges? Do you find it conducive? Are the lecturers good?

Friend works in company.

Working hours are odd times (eg. 6 am - 11 am)
But sometimes have to work OT til 2-4 pm.

Claims OT.

But paid only 1 time of normal working hour salary.

Labour Law says 1.5 times http://www.pesaraonline.net/ea-guide.htm#62

In contract signed, did not state "normal working hours" nor "overtime" definitions.

Advice? How to pursue?

Multiple internet connections on Win 7

I'm fortunate to have multiple connections to the internet. Is it possible via software to bond all connections that I have? I got Wi-fi internet, my own streamyx line and digi broadband tethered via usb. All 3 work well as-is. But is there a way to combine so torrents go faster, for example?

I'm helping a friend set up a Clothing website. We are going to use Zen Cart, and I'm still finding my way around the system.

1. I would like to create a popup similar to Digg.com's login popup. It comes up almost instantly and has the blur gray borders.

2. I would like to have backward and forward controls to scroll through the product list (only around 10 items). When selected, a popup appears with product information and a buy button. Its kinda like Picasa or Flickr, the scroll effect.

3. Auto updating / maintenance. Is Zen Cart like Wordpress where we can just write a simple page with the code and it will auto update? Or do we have to manually code the pages if the items are different? Since we're using the gray shadow popup, can it be made into a "theme"?

HTML code injection

Hi guys,

I got 3 domains, all hosted on this service by Rawanaz Hosting (had major issues with them).

My index.html keeps getting injected with code, i suspect malware / spyware.

It puts in an iframe to some crazy website

Command Line Information System

I have an idea for an Command Line Information System. Backend: Java, MySQL and PHP (I figure we need a database for these sorta things).

I'm trying to emulate the Abacus system (airline reservation) back in those days. For start, the content would be.. random news (perhaps from lowyat) sorted by topic.

This command line system must be searchable and indexed.

Here's my vision on how its being used.
