Windows 7, BSOD UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

Without a known reason, my laptop HP G42 get this unmountable_boot_volume bsod.

The method I've tried and its result as below...
1 - Get into safe mode -> failed/get the bsod
2 - Safe mode with command prompt -> failed/get bsod
3 - Use boot disk, trying to reinstall win 7 -> it stuck at "setup is starting", seems like forever
4 - trying the recovery console -> the recovery option does not appear (pic below)

i do tried tu unplug the hard disk and assemble it into my external hard disk case and check it up from another pc/laptop. the result, it only shown disk size 168mb instead of 500gb....

if any1 have ever try any other method than what i did above, pls enlighten me.... i'm already....

Help! Internet browser crash on search

Help!

My browser suddenly have this hell of crash every time using the search engine.

Using bing in I.E - crash n the ie will restart

Using google in firefox - crash as well

the only way to surf the net is via typing the exact address, the browser will crash on all search except search within forum.

i'm running windows vista home basic.

If any1 ever encounter the same problem b4, do share the solution.

i buila a code which with ask a user to input:
1-vehicle type in char (a-z)
2-hour in & minute in
3- hour out n minute out.

well, it all gone right until i wan to represent the total hour into xx.xx format, eg 2hour30minute is 2.5hour. check my code...

1 - Battery can hold on super long
2 - Windows Mobile 5 OS
3 - Super fast running prog/soft (not gaming)
4 - Has serial cable connector (to be connect to serial port)

Pls recommend me the model, never use pda b4 and looking for working purpose.

Well, yesterday my pc get hang and i lz to wait it get recovered by own and force rebooted it.
And unfortunately, after that it no more can log into windows.
Unable to get into safe mode, last known good setting, unable get into command prompt and all.

i remember on the 1st reboot, the screen show some long explanation and stated my hd become this "Unmounted drive".

i tot to get it fixed through the xp installation cd, surprisingly after they list out all the hd partition, partition1 (my previously c drive) became "unknown" type of partition...

There's alot of valuable data inside that drive... So here, is there some trick without formating and reinstalling the windows?

pretty lz to unscrew the casing to tk out the hd too.

i'm looking for some debug tips, trick and such.

I just bought MSI MS7529 mobo and from user manual there they show the connector for each pin as:-

1- MIC_L
2- GND
3- MIC_R
4- VCC5
5- Line-out_R
6- MIC2_JD
7- Front to Sense
8-
9- Line-out_L
10- Line_JD

while the cable from my front panel marked with:-

MIC-BIAS
GND
L-OUT
L-IN
MIC-IN
GND
R-OUT
R-IN

could any1 match for me the cable to each pin?

I'm facing this problem after uninstalled my xp service pack2. The reason y i uninstall the sp2 is, at the beginning i intended to do full restore my tablet pc using the manufacture-provided recovery cd, but it cant be done due to the differences of windows version installed in the tablet. Originally it was sp1 and sp2 is automatic update 1. In short - i need to uninstall sp2 and get back sp1 so can do the restore.

Uninstall goes just fine. It prompt for reboot to complete the uninstall. but after reboot, i kenot boot into windows and this error come out at logging in. I've google around and check the Microsoft site for solution but unfortunately it not much helping.

Same situation happen if i log on into safe mode. The error come out and i kenot log into windows.

What make me so frustrated are, the tablet come with no cd and flopy drive. heck! even it's original xp cd also missing (been stolen actually).

Any1 here ever encounter this problem and had solve it without need of reinstall the windows, pls guide me how to do it.

Oso, is it possible to retrieve back the missing win xp? where to claim? what information i need to provide/have?

How to change pc "Hardware ID"?

I'm using this MapInfo software and it was licensed to my current pc.... The problem is at the moment the disk of the pc adi got siao siao and bad sector inside. I' intend to change to new disk and reinstall it there. The soft is locked to "Hardware Id", so... any soft can do the job? to change the id of my new hdd?

I get this lcd few last few month n do notice it have abit poor quality in color, that is it seem like less of red color.
I believe this not so normal rite? Which part actually causing the prob? is it the onboad g-card or the lcd itself?
Last time use xp, tot vista could make it better, then change to vista. unfortunately it didnt solf the red problem and just make the display clearer n better.

I just bought this compaq presario v3754tu notebook this evening and it come with free dos.
later on i installed vista home basic in it. i believe i already installed all the driver needed and
when check in device manager, no more unknown device. but why when i plug in any usb mouse,
the mouse cannot be use??? i'm not good with vista, any1 can help me determine what missing in my installation?

My pc just running smoothly last night. But then now surprisingly it keep on restarting like hell.
It seem like some ppl has used my pc while i'm at work....

Now... i couldnt log into windows, couldnt log into safe-mode, and choosing last known good setting oso useless. how ley? really lazy wan to reformat and hoping ... will not need to format coz i got many precious files in the drive.

Well i got this compaq deskpro and seldom use it.
Last few week when i switch it on, everything juz fine and then i switch it back of
and see nothing weird. But when i try to switch it on again today, it cant!
normally when i press the power button, the power indicator/led will blink n yellow in color
but today, it became red.
No POST, no boot screen n no everything. Juz the red power led keep on blinking.
supposed it was yellow....
