I've just put together a new system with the following specs:

AMD Athlon X2 4200 AM2
MSI K9N Ultra
2GB Kingston DDR2 667
Galaxy Geforce 7300GT
Maxtor 250GB Sata
Maxtor 200GB IDE
Maxtor 120GB IDE
Sony DVDRW x2
PCI IDE Add in card
SB Live Value
CM RealPower 450W PSU

The problem that has been driving me nuts is the random shutdowns. Seems to occur during gaming or when there is high network activity (Accessing My Network Places, Azureus).

I have managed to rule out the problem of it shutting down when viewing My Network Places > The cause? The built in dual LAN ports on the motherboard. Tried uninstalling the Nforce network thingy but no difference. I added in an old PCI network card and it seems to work fine now.

However, now it still does randomly reboot during gaming.
I dont think its the PSU, have already tried swapping with a few PSU's and its still the same. Dont think its overheating as well, as even when I do a cold boot and start gaming, after a few minutes it shutsdown.

And sometimes when it does shutdown, there is this weird behavior where the power LED still blinks (for like 20 secs or so), even when I unplug the power cable off the PSU.

Has anyone experienced this?
Only reason I can think of is probably the motherboard?

Oh and I've also installed the AMD X2 Dual Core drivers, hot fixes and updated the mobo's BIOS if that helps.
