how to scan image with Mac

Hi all,

i just bought my MBP 2 week ago. I was having problem with image capture software to scan document. I can see my printer is active in system preference but when i open image capture software there is nothing inside.

my printer model is canon MP145.

Hi All Sifu here,

This is my first time building own PC. I need some advice and recommendation before i power up the PC.

My pc spec is as below:
Case: Cosair C70
Mobo: Asus Maximus V Formula
CPU: Intel i5 3790
RAM: Cosair Vengeance 4 X 4GB
Graphic: Asus GTX680
PSU: Cosair AX750
SSD: Cosair 120G
HDD: WD 1T Black
Optical Drive: Asus DVD/RW
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100

H100 Question: Do i need to connect this connector highlight in yellow?

Mobo Question 1: Top left side, is this connection right? i connect back to PSU.

Mobo Question 2: Bottom right side, im not sure above this connection because the C70 panel wire connector didnt indicate which is ground. Please help verify whether i connect it right.

Mobo Question 3: Bottom center, should i connect this connector highlight in yellow? how about the TPM connector, what is this for?

Graphic card Question: Is this 2 connector connect right?

I found that some of the PSU cable is a bit short. how can i extend it to a little bit more longer. so that it wont stress the cable and connector.

I use all stock fan (3 units + 2 units for H100). Where should i connect the 3 units fan to the mobo? any fan connector will do? 2 units of H100 fan, i connect back to CPU fan.

Hi all,

This week end was my worst nightmare ever.

I'm together with this girl for 6.5 years. starting from 2 years Diploma in Penang, 3 years Degree in KL and 1.5 years working. we were house mate since we were in diploma. she was my first love. later we stay together when we were in kl. we love each other n very happy that time. i take care most of the thing there include study, cleaning, repairing, everything...she was very relying on me.

after we graduate, she get a job at her hometown (kedah) while i work in penang. we promise each other that we will faithful to each other no matter what happen. we only seeing each other 2-3 week once, sometime i go find her, sometime she will come find me. our time together is very short. im free on saturday n sunday while she is only free after saturday 7pm n sunday. After working for a year, i feel ldr very hard for me. my parent want us to get marry, but she say give her 2 more years n current moment she want to focus on her career n will not love another guy. so, i believe her n respect her decision. i say to her that i will work hard to earn more money for our future. after that day, i start focus on my job and spend fewer and fewer time with her (my mistake). because after work she have dancing class and english tuision. almost everyday she is busy and back home late. im those sleep early type of person because my work is very taught.

one day, when i visit her i found out that she was having an affair with somebody (smsing, i try to take her hp n she act very nervous). i pretend dont know. after back home, i call her n told her what i have found. she ask me whether i trust her. i was confuse that time, i believe her and hope that it was not true.

this friday, i finish a commissioning job and get commission rm9k. saturday morning i completed the task at morning and the client very happy and offer me a job there. i feel very happy and proud of myself as this is my first time i earn such big amount of money for 2 days job. after back from work i pack few of my cloth and inform my gf that i will be visit her on saturday night. i want to share my good news with her.

when i reach there i saw her very sad n maybe she is sick or tired. so, i dont kacau her much. we when for dinner together. i told her about the job i have done that morning. i was very happy, but her reaction was cold (ok, mmm,...). after finish dinner, we when back to her house. i try to fix her streamyx as her modem was burn 2 week ago n i also bought a new for her before my way there.

after her parent when to bed, i go to her room. normally i will sleep on the floor and she sleep on her bed and we din close our door. but today, she lock her door once i came in. i try to approach n try to have conversion with her. asking how she feel. suddenly, she told me that there was lot of thing happening at her company lately. there is a guy who is breaking up with his gf and want to be with my gf. n my gf very love him. she was already in love with him. my gf send medicine for him while he was sick outstation. i was stun. is this a dream? is this real? why suddenly like that? i was in shock. later i ask her what she want me to do. she say now her heart is at the other guy place. she want to break with me for this guy. she feel very sorry for me. for all this while what i have given her. i say i will fulfill her request as i want to give her the best. if she is happy, then everything is worth it.

whole night i cant sleep. my head is very confuse. but i try to be strong in front of her. i claim her down, i understand her feeling. i sleep for 2 hour that day. when i woke up in the middle of the night i keep staring at her. i was thinking "is this it? is this the end of our story?" she din notice me as i think she was too tired because she have work on saturday. i was planning on how to win her back, im not that kind of person that give up easily. i plan to meet with this guy n his gf. i write down everything that i plan to ask on a paper. i afraid that i might not able to think properly when i was in front of them.

sunday 6am, my gf parent when for hiking. my gf was awaken by the noise. she notice i was awaken. i told her i only slept for 2 hours, i cant sleep. i want her to make appointment with this guy and his gf on later that day. i want to set thing right once and for all. i told her i was hungry and want to when out for breakfast and i want to be alone. she want to go out with me but she is still sleepy. i said never mind we will go out at 10am.

after she was awaken, we talk about her new bf. my gf was a hardheaded person. i know her very well. n this guy also a hardheaded person and alpha male. they was not matching each other as his ex-gf wash his cloth n clean his house for him n my gf wont do this job at all. i know. n he dont like my gf go dancing class but i already ok with that n i support her everytime she has a competition. my family treat her as one of my family. while this guy parent also dont like her dance. but dancing is her dream. never mind, this is her choice. i respect her decision but i tell her if she is having a hard time with him and i always here waitting her to return. i will forgive her mistake. im not like my gf, my gf wont give me a chance to make mistake. i was very careful. i know the feeling of making mistake and want forgiven. i forgive her and give her her freedom. she is free to date with this guy. then i cancel the appointment. i set her free no string attach. we still be friend from that moment onward.

i cried all the way back from her house to penang. the journey seem like very long. n rain keep pouring while im on my way back. i drive very slow that day. feel like i don't want to leave her back there.

before leaving her house i saw her weaving at me. i saw her face. i notice that she felt very heavy n scare we might not see each other again. after filling petrol at petrol station, i sms her telling her that i will drive slowly and reach home safely. i will remember n never forget our pass.

i was sad now. maybe i just need some time to heal my pain. but i still wait her to come back. she wish me success in my career in future.

this is my real story, sorry for writing such long essay, sorry for bad english. pls feel free to drop any commend.

Hi all,

i would like to start a thread on suggesting or volunteer themself as a mod in this section.

as this iphone section is being for awhile already but the rule n regulation here are not follow by some people here which make this section very messy (duplicated thread, noob question, flaming etc...). we need a some volunteer to maintain this section but there is no pay for this job and you may withdraw from this job if you think it is not suitable for you.

you all may also give suggestion on mod job function as below:

1. delete or combine duplicated thread. (this will reduce 'flaming' culture here)
2. warn those who flam at newbie. (you may report to mod if you think this somebody thread is duplicate or similar. let the mod to do his job)
3. etc...

Hi everyone!

I have tired with the mate black color of this case, so i decided to do some modding to my case.

Previously i have write a review here.

This is what i plan to do for my case

Metallic Pearl White Base; Silver / Metallic Black Apple logo; Black "incase" logo; Black "16G"; Mirror effect finish.

First thing first, sand down the rubber type surface with 1000 grid wet sand paper.

Damn, the top of the case rubber is a bit thick. take me double the time compare with bottom parts.

iphone touch screen not sensitive

Hi all sifu here,

recently i found out that my iphone touch screen not responsive...when i type sms or play izoo, there is some area that dont respond very well, even i try repeat the press that area for few times but it still din work...

is there any software or setting for us to calibrate the touch area?like pocket pc?

Please help!!!

need help to start car

to all car si fu here, my case is shown as below:

1. car cant turn off after i switch off the engine and unplug the key.

2. so i decide to unplug the coil fuse to shut the engine down.

3. after few time, engine can start for few second only then whole engine shut down again.

4. indicator show "fail safe mode"

anyone can help me solve this problem???thank you...
