Laptop repair recommendation

Can anyone recommend a reputable laptop repair shop or person. My son managed to push the power port connection inside the laptop so that now the brick no longer properly connects and wont charge it. And yes no warranty. Its an Acer.

Recommendations for HT System Requested

Hi, I am wanting to install a decent HT system in my bedroom (living area roughly 4m x 4m ) at a cost of around RM1K.
I want to be able to play both Astro B.yond (registered but not yet received but best to be future compatible) plus my Xtreamer Media Centre (which has both HDMI and digital optical output) through the system. I also have a LG 42PG60 Plasma TV (has AV/Component/HDMI in and composite AV out out but no optical).
I am not too bothered about brand but perhaps would prefer those systems that had the smaller type of speaker (rather than those very tall ones) as it is just for my bedroom.
Anyone have any recommendations that would suit such a setup as this? TIA!

Is Hotmail blocking Jaring ISP?

I have an old Jaring dialup email address that is used primarily for business.

However I was trying to send emails this week to various hotmail addresses and they keep getting bounced back.

I know its not a problem with Hotmail being down as I can send from my yahoo and streamyx email addresses to Hotmail no problem.

I also know its not a Jaring sending problem as I can send to other non hotmail email address without problem.

This is what i get back in reply:

reason: 550 SC-001 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons.
Repair of Nintendo DS

Does anyone know any shops that can repair the Nintendo DS. My son decided to try and clean his with the pen and it looks like he has bent but not broken one of the pins inside (for the DS games not Gameboy).

Thinking of Upgrading Streamyx Speed

OK, I know with all the throttling issues people are thinking of downgrading to slower speeds but I am running secure-tunnel with a half meg streamyx setup and it typically uses all the bandwidth so I am thinking of upgrading to either 1 or 2 meg.
My question is to those who have actively upgraded via appying for the upgrade (rather than just found out that their speed is faster than what they are paying) whether there is any downtime during the upgrade process or if it is just automatic?
