I have just finished watching the video above and figured that it might be useful to set up a raid 1 setup. but by doing so it'll take a toll on the speed of my computer (I'm guessing) and I guess It'll use more wattage because of the extra Hard drive. I am also considering to just buy an external hard drive and copy my files to that drive manually each time to save the hassle of configuring/setting up a RAID 1 setup.(which is fairly easy as shown on the video above)
so basically here's my questions:

could a raid 1 setup also mirror/copy my OS or any software that I have bought and downloaded to the other hard drive? so in any case of a hard drive failure I don't need to buy a win 7 OS again?

can the same be done to an external hard drive? you know.. copying the OS to the external hard drive so I don't need to buy a new win 7 OS again should a Hard drive failure occurs. of course within legal boundaries.

I am planning to purchase a nintendo wii U when it releases. since the Wii U support backward compatibility with old nintendo wii games I thought it would be a good idea to buy some. now, I am able to purchase wii games at amazon.co.uk since the games are from the UK.. which Wii U console should I buy?
for example: this is a US wii U game system

I'm assuming that it wont run the games I buy on amazon.co.UK play asia have not yet list a UK version of the console.. is the UK version of the console any different from a pal version bought in malaysia? does that mean in order to play wii games on amazon.co.uk I need a PAL europe version of the WII U?
