i just bought a asus rt-n15u router for my unifi .. but i cant seems to set up my unifi at all .. it keep saying automatic ip connection failed, then ask me to do it manually... when i do it manually which requires ipv4 address, subnet and default gateway.

i dunno whats the right number -.- ..

Hi, I have unifi at home and there is some selfish housemates who are dlling like mad and make the others all lag like hell..

i would like to limit their bandwidth but not blocking them ( that would be too cruel) which cannot be done with the free router that TM give us.

So i would like to buy a new modem / router with such function but i got no idea which one. SO can any pro around here kindly give me some recommendations ? don't too expensive pls ^^

Hmm... after reading a few posts here.. i decided to post my story up in the end lol.. although was scared tat he find out.. but oh well~~ dn care.

I have a bf who i had been dated for 17 mths. well.. argue happens but overall , we r happy.

but problem arise when it comes to the realistic world. Im a degree graduate, fresh grad bt with a quite ok salary i would say.. n he doesnt even hav a spm, working unstably , with unstable income. i would say my salary can be double of his.

we r currently staying tgt, with most of the expenses bear by me.. he pay the rental n electricity of coz.. bt when he is out, its up to me.

so im 24, stepping to 25 now.. thinking of getting stable, im sick of changing bf, n seriously i dn want to. as i said, im happy when we r tgt. but the problem comes when wat kind of future i can expect with a husband like tat ? my family definitely dn like him, he knws tat well. n some of my frens as well.. due to the lack of security he can give..

and security is really a big issue for a gal.. and for me.

i was thinking lately.. shud i jz give up on tis rship knowing tat it will bring me no where ? or shud i jz give him some more time to prove that he is reliable.. i ald told him from the 1st mth we dated that if he cant find a stable job n income, we going no where, and more than 1 year pass.. its still like tat..

i need a broadband service in my area .. i juz moved in taman melati utama , setapak .. AND THE TM .. seems like .. no telephone will be available until next year.. i'd been suffering of no internet life for 3 months ++ .. i dying ..

so .. anyone can recommend any broadband service tat will be available here ? i dun care p2p or wireless .. if wireless i will juz get a wireless card .

i'm kind of noob in this broadband thingy .. so can pls help ? the broadband service offered by my condo's management .. at 1st said 1 week , then now 1 month liao .. now i cant even contact the person in charge .. i getting super pissed off liao .. if i still cant get any internet service be4 my sem break. . i going to move out soon ..
