I'm looking to buy this house to stay and don't believe that certain numbers can bring bad luck. However, I'm concern that I might not be able to sell the house when I need to, which might be about 10 to 20 years down the line.

My bad experience with Maybank ATM cash withdrawal

Queued up at the ATM machine to withdraw cash, after about 10 minutes I was at the head of the queue making my withdrawal.

Punched in all my details and noticed the processing time was unusually long, however finally, the machine ejected by card WITHOUT THE CASH AND THE AMOUNT DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT !!! What the

Called up this bank and had to call their 1300 number for THEIR MESS. Had to wait about 10 minutes going through their screwed-up voice messages and finally I got to speak to a real life person. After verification, the operator said it would take THREE WORKING DAYS to credit the amount back into my account. This is when my blood started to boil

Asked the operator the following question :-

1. I don't have money to back home and am very hungry, can you send me a taxi with some food?
2. Are you going to pay me interest for the three days?

The answer to all these questions was very simple, I'm sorry Sir, I can't do that. WTF !!!???

Tire pressure effect wheel alignment

I had both my front tires replaced with Michelin PS3 after surveying a few shops and finally settled for this shop in Bukit Kemuning as their offer was the best.

Balancing was free, however they were reluctant to say how much their price for chamber adjustment was. Upon replacing my tires and hooking up their alignment machine I found all four wheels out of alignment slightly. This is when their ax begin to swing. It was RM20 per tire. This also raised my suspicion since the car was driving straight before I replaced the tires.

Upon reaching home I got my pressure gauge out and measured the pressure of both the newly replaced front tires and found the right hand front tire pressure at 275 Kpa and left front tire at 325 Kpa. The recommended tire pressure is 200 Kpa for my wira. The tire size is 195/55/15.

So this brings out the question does tire pressure effect the wheel alignment and have I been cheated by this shop?

Unifi fiber optic wire snapped

Would like to know how to get TM to replace the damaged fiber optic wire. Suddenly lost connection and found one spot on the wire badly damaged not sure how, looks like something had a nibble. How much does TM charge for this?

Is it possible to buy the cable and fix it myself. Thanks.

Whatsapp on Celcom line not working with U mobile

I have a Celcom post paid line registered as my whatsapp number while line 2 uses U mobile. My Umobile has data while celcom does not have data.

Lawyers fee for Sales & Purchase agreement

When I check online, the calculated lawyers fee is about RM6.5k based on my property purchase price. Not sure if this amount is with or without caviet.

However lawyers are quoting me about RM8.4k with caviet or RM7.5k without.

Even without the caviet the legal fees is about 1k more. Why is this so, am I being ripped off?

Asus 1001HE upgraded to WIN 7

After upgrading to WIN 7 since there was no more support for XP and many of the application had been affected with virus, the function keys stop working and I'm not able to switch on my WIFI and Bluetooth with this keys. The WIN 7 drivers from the manufacturer does not work since it requires a BIOS update and I'm not willing to carry out that update since I'm not sure how to do it. Anything else can be done besides reverting back to XP? Thanks.

Toshiba L300 laptop sound

I have this Toshiba L300 laptop with the sound distorted on the right hand speaker. I have replaced the speaker but the sound is still distorted, any idea what can be done to resolve this defect? I dont want to replace the motherboard as it will be too costly and not worth. Thanks.

Laptop power supply

My laptop(Asus S200) power supply gave way and I had to look for new one. The power supply is rated at 1.75 amp.

I had a 4 amp power supply at home but I was not sure if I could use it and finally got a new power supply rated at 1.75 amp from low yat.

At low yat, the salesman said I can't use the higher rated power supply as it will reduce the lifespan of the laptop, but I'm still not sure about this. Any comments? What do you think? Can or cannot use the 4 amp power supply?

Garbage trucks uses the route in front of my house

Hi,

I have this problem and would like your feedback on how I can solve this issue.

About 20 to 30 garbage trucks with their smelly load uses the road in front of my house daily. It appears they are using this route to dispose trash in a recycling center nearby. There is another route that does not pass by a residential area, but this route is shorter.

So far I've complained to the following agencies via their online portals :-
1. MBSA(Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam), local town council twice.
2. Kementerial Kesihatan Malaysia
3. JPJ
4. Sidang Pengarang Selangor Kini via email.
5. SPAD

None of the agencies above managed to solve my problem, most of them did not even respond. Wonder why they have an online portal for complains. MBSA, for the first complain claimed the truck were collecting rubbish from my Taman, which I knew they were not. So I captured this video( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AW4QnMSYUW0 ) and launched a second complain with them. This time they claim there is no "Akta" to prohibit the garbage trucks from using a residential route. WTF? !!! I asked them if I should put with the filthy smell and dirty roads daily? To which they kept quiet and asked to launch a complain to SPAD.

Feed-up with MBSA, I took my problem to the local wakil rakyat for my area, but all that remains are empty promises.

All I'm asking for is for the trucks to not use a residential route, which I know they can't but I don't know how to bring this up and to whom as all the relevant authorities have turned a deaf ear.

Any help in the form of response would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I heard one would need to appoint a lawyer to transfer the ownership from the bank to owner.

What would be cost to appoint a lawyer?

Can I do it myself?
