Hi, any one know in actual Benedictine DOM have expiry date?

Can keep for how long?

will be more nutritious or added value if keep longer?

Would like to share this experience, and let others aware & learn from experience. (sorry, a bit lengthy..)
To some, i might be 'stupid', but it is too late.
If you are the relative of this cl, u got to know how she work outside.

- some background
This is my second pregnancy.
I'm having confinement at my own home (condo). The cl only need to take care of me & my baby. I only take 2 meal per day. Breakfast i dont request to cook, i take bread.
And my husband eat the same dish (dinner) as mine, as he dont mind to take the confinement dish. I'm full breastfeed my baby.
So, basically, the cl is cooking 2 meal (1 of the dish is repeated at night), wash plates, taking care of baby, wash baby cloth and my sarong, mop kitchen, once awhile mop the house, and some day, need to hang the cloth washed by washing machine. Basically, quite senang if compared to other family.

- my most horror moment
On the 15th days EARLY morning, i requested the cl to cook for 1 more person as i have a visitor at night.
Then i asked the cl, what she going to cook. Then she show the not happy face, said she very good in cooking, but because i dont want to take ginger (due to scare jaundice in baby), so the food is very limited. Perhaps few days ago, i've already started food w some ginger.
Then i asked her, so what dish she going to cook since she said she is good in cooking, she diddnt answer then staight away said, you order from restaurant lar.
And she directly said, she want to quit and calculate 15 days payment for her (think she already calcuated in advance the number of days).
The way she talked to me is fierce and action.
At that moment she even said, she acutally know how to iron cloth, but she lie, purposely said she dont know how to iron. (to iron my husband working suit)

I was shocked of what she had said. And, since she said she want to quit, i'm somehow accepted, because i think i also cannot tahan her attitude (to be explain later).
I tell her, my husband only can send her back after he back from work.
She said, she want to leave now, and ask me to pay for 15days wages. Actually, i though is 14 days, but after calculate day by day, from the day we fetch her (we told and pick her at 2pm), found out it is really 15 days (but now only early morning, not even half a day, she even said she travel from ulu yam in early morning). I only inform my husband the cl going to leave and do not disturb my husband much as he is really tight up with his work.

I where got so much cash at home?! She ask me to borrow!!!
I dont know why at that moment, i 'so listen' to her, i borrow money from a good neighbour.
And now is only early morning and she want to leave. I've no choice, request her to bath my baby as baby already poo and cook lunch for me b4 she is leaving. She obviously chinchai bath my baby and steam a fish for me.

I've then prepared the full 15days wages for her & give her rm80 as angpao, but she said the amount is wrong, should give her exact rm100 angpao. I gave her rm80 because usually the cl will give the baby angpao too.
She said her daughter in law already calculate the total amout for her.
I forgotteh to put the angpao money in red-packet, she WANT me to put rm100 in the red packet. I dont know why at that whole morning, i 'so listen' and obey to her. She even had said, she wont give my baby angpao.

After settle the money, b4 12pm, i open the door for her. She leave the house 'actionlly'.

LESSON
- Should not settle the thing by ownself. Should ask for help from the 'adults' (parents/relative/friends), should have someone come into house and 'assist'. The cl is obviously bullying the home alone mother

Other kisah benar to share
1) 'curse' you, and force your baby
- first day she came, keep on saying 'u no milk', give formula lar. Although already explained to her, initial few day only got colostrum etc.
She insisted want to give baby formula at night, but then had given up after two days, just because my baby dont know how to drink from bottle. Then only she 'kam yuen' (willing), bring baby to me.
When my baby dont know how to latch on the teat, she keep on turning the bottle 'fiercely' to squeeze the milk into the baby mouth, forcing the baby to drink, until the baby want to vomit then only she stop. I do stop her to do so, as when she turning & squeezing the bottle that time, my baby was also being 'shaken strongly' indirectly, this is very dangerous
- throw away 1oz of your precious breastmilk. Had told her the milk can still be taken within an hour. She still throw away. After she throw away, within 10 min, she knock the door due to baby cry for milk
2) cook average taste food
- for me the food is ok, i've no complain. 1 time, I only tell her which dish i dont eat, so that next time she wont cook.

3) 80% you listen/obey to her, instead of she obey to you. Quite diffucult to make her obey.
- she INSIST not to make PLAIN chicken tonic. She said, plain chicken tonic is not nutritious unless i have cordycep. Then i asked how about Chicken tonic + pao sam/ chicken tonic + dong kuai, she said after 2 weeks then only can cook. Since i dont buy cordycep, so, no chicken tonic for me.
- even my mother request, she also wont do it

4) in general, got 'attitude problem', very good in giving excuses (very good in fight back - bok zui).
- spoil the pot handle then put back into the cabinet. Coincident i want to use the pot then only found out, ask why didnt tell it is spoil. Then said, going to tell. In actual, dont know spoil for how many days already. Also said, the handle spoil is because it doesnt seal properly. Used for years, wonder why not spoil. Even my 1st cl oso not spoil it

- spoil the thermos closure, then insist 'it is not spoil', still can close!!

- didnt wipe the plates and put it back into the cabinet. Ask why? Then answered, because the wiping cloth is WET. (There is actually dish rack in the kitchen, why dont leave those plate there?) And she never ask is there any other cloth available.

- put the softener in wrong compartment of the washing machine, for few times. Do rectify, but still the same. and give tons of rubish excuse to explain. After the 1st mistake, i've even asked her to inform me befor operating the machine, but she still operate her own

After she left, only found out...
A) she had tear off the label of a baby product without my permission. Probably the cl found out the product is useful and want to keep it for reference

B) not sure what kind of 'practice' is that... without my permission, she had DILUTED a bottle of dish washer and a bottle of baby product washer.
C) she actually not even DESTROY the few items mentioned above. To our surprise, she actually had spoil the 'step and swirl' mopping BUCKET. I realized she didnt use the bucket (just few days before she left), but i though she just simply dont want to use, i didnt suspect it is actually spoil. Not finish yet... not even the bucket, the mop, she also can spoil it.
She didnt mention at all the thing had spoil, same incident happened for she spoil the pot, just that we didnt find out until she left.

Our thing is not those 'pasar' thing, she also manage to destroy... really sweat

OPINION
- guys, what would you do in this scenario? Do you still pay her? cox, some ppl said she didnt complete her task, irresponsible, no need pay her. To some, even think of she had another job (she got tell my mom, got other ppl also want to hire her with higher price, even my husband also heard she talk on the phone about it)
