This beast is finally here:

http://www.oto.my/car-for-sale/55737/new-2...-2.0xt-selangor

http://www.subaru-global.com

News is that the early bird promo is 10k off the advert above.

Booked mine already

Price almost the same as CR-V 2.5 to be launched in June, RM 190k.

Also, this car will give Tiguan and Q5s a good challenge. Price also much more reasonable for a CBU jap car.

Info on Renovation, Construction and Structures

Hi guys,

I am new here in the forum. Was actually selling my used laptop. But I noticed this section of the forum and really caught my attention.

I am a chartered structural engineer by profession but work for a contractor / developer locally.

Having seen some of the recent construction issues on the news over the past few years and also listening to many complaints and screams for help from friends renovating their homes, I actually feel obliged to contribute in some way.

Therefore I was thinking of starting a blog to try to explain some of the crucial or main things to watch out for when renovating a property to people without engineering background.

I did my first post on foundations and was wondering if you guys can have a look to
see if this is actually useful for you guys.

Check it out at 'chenkf.blogspot.com'.

Also, would also be good if all of you can suggest to me on what issues you would like to know about regarding home structures. Be it construction, renovation, technical design etc. I am focusing on issues related to the building structure, foundations and construction.

My next post will be on COMMON CRACKS found in a residential building.

If you guys think it is useful, then I think I will continue expanding the blog.
