Is Malaga La Liga's City?

The club was sold in June 2010 to Qatarian investor, Abdullah ben Nasser Al Thani. The club has also its own reserve team, Atlético Malagueño.

The club also has a sizeable British following, mainly down to the large amount of British expats currently residing on the Costa del Sol.

For most of us with no vested interest or regional or national affiliations we welcome top flight football and clamour for the best product to be put out.

However this is a gamble and the risk is mitigated if there is a trillion dollar offer from Asian television companies sitting on the table. Why am I saying that?

Personally, I don't think it will happen. Why?

IMO, The EPL is the best prime league (BPL) and the most lucrative already. The CL (aka European 'super' league) exists already
with the usual premier leagues teams dominating the playoffs. The top 4 EPL teams garnered most of the spoils from EPL and CL matches. So why shouldn't they maintained the status quo?

If we replace the bottom teams (colored purple above) with the other 14 EPL teams don't you think we have a better product. The usual derbies and crosstown rivalries that stir and whip us (Citizens, Villans, Spurs, Pompey, Cottagers, Zebras, Toffees etc) into frenzies and passions. Like Citizens thumping the 2007 EPL champion.

OK. Your opinion however trivial is welcome here in this thread.

24/7 Football Parks

We should built more parks with football fields that are 24/7 i.e. lit at dusk. 'Multi-tasking' other sports, Badfminton courts (or other sports) can be implemented side by side.

The dearth or lack of easy, multipurpose parks with football fields has led to the decline or downward spiral of our football "prowess".
Futsal will just provide a subset of football skills, does not enhance or provide other football skills (such as width to width or long passes etc.) not to mention feel of natural turfs etc.
Stamina and Fitness that comes with running full tilt for long stretches is a must in competitive football. Can we in an arena?

Football and badminton are some of the major sports that we can provide a milieu to develop our nations youth fitness and competitiveness.

Rumours flying left and right regarding Manchester City's owners , the wealthy Abu Dhabi United Group , been linked with a bid in the region of £100m for the AC Milan player Kaka with offer of a £500,000 weekly wage.

I won't be surprised if they land ronaldinho and or Dida. Kaka may have ruled himself out with his conditions and demands. I love it if City become a Samba team.
