Bing Translator for Websites

Back to this site after a long time! Actually I was so busy with my study and job, I didn't have enough time to come here. Yesterday I got a notification from lowyat. Then I remember that I used to write here long time ago.

Today I would like to share a widget with you. It's bing translator. I think most of you are not familiar with this widget. This is a widget which can translate your site in 42 languages. And it's very fast and simple. If you'd like to view the demo then visit here.

All you need to do is simply add a code in your site's HTML. Copy and paste the below code in your site.

Though Google Translator has more language options, I think bing is faster. You can also customize the code. Suppose - Color, Settings, Default Language etc. You can manually edit the code or you can directly visit bing translator widget page to edit the settings.

Install .Net Framework 3.5 in Windows 8 offline!

Many of you may face same problem just like me. Few days ago when I installed Windows 8 on my Desktop I was really happy.

Couple of hours later . . . I was so sad! Because some of my most used programs was asking for .Net Framework 3.5. I had an offline copy of it. But it was not working. And I was at the end of my bandwidth limit to download a file more than 230 MB.

At last I found the solution. A command line can install it from your Windows 8 installation DVD.

Let's start the procedure.
First of all, insert your windows 8 disk in the DVD drive.
Then run command prompt as Administrator.
Now copy and paste the following command in the command prompt.

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:h:\sources\sxs

Press Enter. It may take 3 to 5 minutes. Then restart your PC.

Remember: source:h is the letter of your DVD drive. Replace it with your drive name.

Showing My Computer Icon on Desktop in Windows 8

If you're new in Windows 8, then you might face a problem. When you open up your PC there will be only Tiles in the scree. Press Windows Logo Key + D to show Desktop.

But when you go to desktop you will notice that My Computer Icon is not on the Desktop! Oh My God! Now What!

Simply right click on the desktop and choose Personalize.
Then click on Change Desktop Icons from the left side.
Now select the icons you wanna show on your Desktop.
Done! Now press OK and get the icon on the Desktop.
