Need help with legal issue.

Hey there people. I hope I'm posting this question at the relevant place. If not, apologies in advance.

So my question is whether it is legal for a lawyer to release a client's statement of claim to the media after it has been served? What if the client himself allow his lawyer to show his claim to the public but before the hearing of the case is heard?

I'm pretty sure this is not allowed as it goes against the legal profession etiquette. But I want to here other people's thoughts on this matter.

So what is your thoughts and opinions on this?

Any law student/pupil in chamber/lawyer out there?

Hello! I'm new to this forum. I hope I've posted this topic at the right place. If not, apologies in advance.

Anyways, I'm just wondering whether there are any law students/pupil in chambers/lawyers hanging out at this site. I can't seem to find any good forum or site to discuss about legal issues in Malaysia and also the sharing and exchanging of knowledge and advice between those who are involved in the legal profession, so I'm trying my luck here.

Anyone wants to recommend a good site or forum to discuss anything about law?

P.s: I'm tempted to create a site where law peeps and others who are interested in law can chill and ask any questions on law freely.
