guys, i would like to learn to get some basic skills on sql. i tried read asp.net book, but it seems bit complicated for me. although my c++ knowledge is good. but i guess i should go for the most basic sql before asp.net.

i have read through all notes on sql (basic notes) over the internet, and i like to try to write out those command out. but i not sure which i should use, oracle sql or mysql? i'm getting confuse now.. there's so many type of sql out there. any good advice? thanks!

hey guys.. do you guys have this same situation like me?
i tried to play a movie with rmvb file with RealPlayer 11. but don't know why today my realplayer is not working. when i clicked the file, and realplayer opened, but it pop-up a windows said 'RealPlayer needs to download new software to play this file.' When i click "Yes", it said
"There is no software update available from Real to support this content

Just like to ask whether do any of you using Thinkpad t43 and have upgrade your RnR? I still using v2.0 and my t43 keep crashing and get the bluescreen when the wireless connection drop.

so when u have update your rnr? is there any problem? i saw there's some forum say don't update coz it's going to cause some problem..

also i tried to copy my existing backup to my usb drive, but it say please attach USB and try again although i have plug in my usb thumb drive (erm, it's only 256MB not sure it's enough or not)

any help pls??

Hi, I'm from c++ but now helping a friend write a c# program and i'm quite new to c#. hope you guys can give me some guide here.
I have 2 class;
1. class Student {} and
2. class GroupStudent :List <Student>

i suppose Student is the base class (in c++ terms) and GroupStudent is collection from Student. Am i right??

now, in Student, I have record Name, age and ID, where i have

hi, just need some advice.
I understand p2p will eat up a lot of bandwidth. How about online streaming? Is there any affect with bandwidth or it's just using normal bandwidth like surfing website like forum lowyat??

haiz.. coz i got a email warned me coz i exceed my bandwidth when i watch movie in ppstream. When i received the email, i only realize there's so many rules behind...

any advice??

Hi, i'm a bit dumb in networking.. i have one question on wireless connection problem.
I'm using a router for my broadband and there's 3 ppl is sharing the internet.. But why one of my friend's laptop couldn't connect to the internet while at the same time my laptop is connected.
Router is using 3Comm router..
what should i do???

I'm need some guide.. I'm using Microsoft's bluetooth Stack and I need to write a program for connection L2CAP. But I'm new in writing program for Bluetooth. Any guide please... coz I not sure I need to open window socket (in the program) to make connection or what.

hi... need to information... i'm a bit confuse apply student visa for study master in UK. the letter from university or college is the offer letter right?? i heard apply student visa need unconditional offer letter from then uni. it's the same thing? the offer letter and unconditional offer letter???
anyway normally how long will the application will take? 1 day or 2 days or more??
