Need Help to confirm Please!

Hi Everyone!!

I really need your help to confirm my issue. Thanks in advance to whoever gonna reply me on this. I've posted my issue here previously and to cut story short, I ended up buying a new hardisk hoping it would end my misery but right after I installed my new hdisk, the same "cant boot" still persist.

Somehow right after I changed the SATA ports to different one, used new hardisk, fresh windows, new sata cable, I managed to use it for around 4 months till last week, it couldn't boot again. So what I have done;

1. New hardisk
2. New SATA cable, tried all SATA ports
3. Tried all of the RAM port, tried just using one RAM (I have 2)
4. New WIN7 installation. Repair start up (after the prob back again)

Now it either stuck and cant boot or it will stuck at "Loading operating system". I've tried to use DVD-ROM to boot, but most of the time, while it says "Loading windows resources", it will stuck halfway. I mean it's like it will stop at a certain point reading the DVD.

So I just need to confirm if this is indeed MOBO issue particularly the sata ports or there's something else I could try. Really appreciate your help. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Pc always hang, always fail to reboot

Hi,

I'm new here. I'm having an issue with my pc starting last month. Was about to go to my friend's place to troubleshoot together but he advised to try asking here first with the PROs so we can try tomorrow following the advice. So let me start what the symptoms and what I've did. Please bear with me sifoos;

1. I managed to use my pc for almost 2 years with ease and then I started to get blue screen dump. Cut story short, I sent my hdisk for warranty and just received it last week. But I think I didn't get replacement and just got the same HDD due to the identical scratch on the side.

2. I installed new windows 7 ultimate, updated till service pack 1. Installed latest GC nstaller using the manufacturer's website - NVIDIA GTX460, latest driver updated. I managed to use it 1 smooth week then when I played dota, it kept crashing. The error always different (sometimes a map is corrupted, sometimes the undead mp3 etc) and the last error was DirectX. I've managed to play so many rounds of dota before the first error occurred.

3. When I tried browsing my pc and not his hang started to happened after the first error encountered while i played dota. Its just dota!! minimum requirement for it to run right?

4. I figured maybe I had to update my mobo driver, so I searched the manufacturer, downloaded the latest one and installed. It got worse! The windows explorer even crashed and hang again and again

5. I tried to restore using the restore point I created before I installed the new mobo driver, but the restoration hang!!! It reboot and said OS cannot be loaded!!

6. Whenever I tried to reboot, 9 out of 10 attempts would stuck in the first screen where u can select/enter the bios. I hit F12 to change the boot option so I could boot from DVD, yet it needs few attempt.

7. Once I managed to boot with DVD, I tried to reinstall new windows. But always hang/stuck/stopped. Sometimes when during the first "loading windows file" and sometimes during the installation. I tried numerous time!! sometimes it says, it cant detect the DVD ROM!!

8. Luckily this morning I tried again and managed to install a new fresh windows. Then I only installed my GC. Left it for a while and when I came back to the room, it HANG again!! New fresh windows!!

Please help me SIfoos. I wanted to buy a new hard disk but afraid it's not hdisk issue. Thought maybe new GC but some symptoms made me think it's the mobo. Please give ur opinion. Is it the drivers? the GC? MOBO? or the just-got-it-back Hdisk?

sidenote, the new windows installation after I received my hdisk last week and the one I did just now, the very first restart due to windows is updated, it failed to load the windows. I have to reset or force OFF and ON again. Even the very first restart with the new fresh windows. Please advise.

Thanks in advance!!

I use;
- Gigabyte UltraDurable 3 mobo socket 1155
- Leadtek GTX 460
- Processor Intel

Please let me know if more information needed
