Hi there! I'm a 20 yr old and is about to finish my 4th year degree end of next year. Recently, my 3rd year grading system in college have changed. It has become even harder to score an A or a B in my course. I would want to know if with an estimated minimum CGPA of 2.70 by the end of next year, will I be able to get a job? If it is hard, from my next sem onwards, i will have to put in more effort to get more than 3.0 cgpa. Many of my friends have been saying "to get a job, you need minimum 3.0". Others would say "minimum 2.5 cgpa to get a job OR they wont look at the cgpa". Which should i believe to be on the right course? and the new grading scale is based on new coursework too. either 70% coursework and 30% final examination or 80% coursework and 20% finals. It follows the US University grading scale. To be honest, i find it hard to get B or A now.
