Clarify Waranty term & condition for HP

I saw a lot of ppl sold their handphone has unfilled the waranty card. If that is after the 14 days, its there be valid?

Few example for unfilled waranty i saw b4: (For original set only)

1.) Buy few month already but didnt fill the waranty card, when the want to sold out the hp will say : U will get 1 year waranty because of the WC is unfilled, so the waranty will start when u send the WC to xxx.

2.) Gift from friend, company dinner, prize, lucky draw. will say : I hv HP already so doesnt need the extra hp, thatwise want to sold out.

3.) The WC no need to fill up, because the seller told me anything happen jz bring the WC the service center, they will settle it.

I own a hp like Nokia, SE, Samsung b4. I remember the WC has stated there whithin 14 days of buying have to sent & received by them. If no, it will void the waranty. So i jz confuse why they can unfilled the WC but still can get the wanranty leh

Hope all of us will share thier/your/his/her experience. Thanks.
