Iphone4 charging problem

Hi Lyn members, im a iphone 4 user, suddenly today my phone canot be charged anymore, instead of the lightning logo when plug in the cable, it showed a plug logo, the battery no longer charging, definitely not cable problem because i tried many OEM cable n adapter
I even brought to Mid valley apple service center, they also told me that something is wrong in the phone, either the battery, or the charging sensor, having problem, so they recommend me to trade in 1 for 1, at the cost of RM6XX,
gosh, can anyone help advice whether shud i take the deal to trade in 1 for 1, or is it more worth it to get a new iphone5 instead? or is there anyone who can provide repair service around KL area?

another prob is that i havent backup anything from the phone to itunes, and the phone is no longer responding upon plug-in.. so.. help... contacts and company informations all inside..
