Hi, I'm looking for this monitor. But does not seem to be sold in Malaysia. Anyone know where I can get it? Rather not order online unless it's online from Malaysia as it is quite expensive and I don't want to get ripped off.

Thanks.

Sudden bridging issue

Hi,

Past couple of days, been experiencing really slow connection. Unifi 20. I have 2 routers bridged together, WR841N
and WGR541. They have been working fine all this while. But i connected to each of them and ran a speedtest and both were slow. So had to be unifi's side. At night it was fine. The next day the same thing. During the day was around 0.2Mbps and night was fine again. However, now the router connected to the modem is fine, getting full speed, but the other one bridged wirelessly is only getting around 7mpbs. Tried resetting it and reconfiguring but still the same. Also tried changing the channels on both, but still no difference. What could be causing this? I didnt change anything or add anything around the house that may cause wireless interference.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

SSD to boost normal drive?

hi, i just got a SSD drive. apparently it is possible to achieve much higher speeds on normal drives by using the SSD to boost them. is that true? my other drive is running at around 70Mbps read/write and my SSD is running around 300Mbps r/w. Is there something that i need to set so that i can get my main drive to run faster??

thanks

DV6000 Users Memory UPGRADE to 4GB! :)

For those of you dv6000 users who bought ur laptops early when the dv6000 series began, alot of the notebooks were said to only support 2GB. Guess what? It supports 4GB and we can all upgrade!! woohoo!! Well...i posted my problem in the dv6000 club topic a while ago and i was eager to solve it, and i found the solution. i never knew that my notebook supported more than 2GB until recently when i bought a cooling pad and was comparing the differences in temp using everest. While going through the other specs i realised that under chipset it said 'Max memory amount' 4GB. i was like 'damnnn.' serious? went n bought 2 sticks of 2GB today, came back and a couple of funny things happened. BIOS only showed 3328 MB instead of 4096 MB, vista loading bar showed and welcome sound played but screen was black. i changed back to my 2 sticks of 1GB and booted back normally and after searching all over the net, i realised that my BIOS was pretty out of date using version f.16 and would probably be the cause of the RAM not loading properly. and well...i updated my BIOS and now 4096 MB!! but please take note though that for windows vista 32-bit (or any 32-bit version of windows i think....xp,...etc) , it will still show only around 3070 MB RAM in windows although the BIOS shows 4096. The rest is being used for the system. However i think in 64-bit systems you get to see the full amount even in windows but its just a cover up by microsoft to avoid customers complaining about why their RAM is not what it's supposed to be, and actually the 32-bit versions are showing the more accurate available amounts.

Anyway, for those of you who already discovered all this, you should be ashamed for not telling us!! hehehe or maybe you did and i missed the post anyway, correct this post if anything wrong has been said (tech wise), and for those of you who havent discovered this.....have fun UPGRADING!!!

Cheers.

AGP not running at 8x

hi, i'm using a powercolor radeon 9600xt. i noticed however that in the catalyst control center under the SMARTGART settings, it shows that my current agp speed is 0x. AGP fast write is off as well. if i change it to 8x, it says that it will apply after restarting if the settings are found to be safe. but after i restart it goes back to 0x. in my BIOS i've already set it to 8x and fast-write is on there. i just updated the card drivers as well as the catalyst control center but i'm still having the same problem. also now the new catalyst control center is having a problem displaying the 3d preview. the one where u adjust the 3d settings and there's a small preview area. an error msg comes out saying that 'preview needs to close' and there's a direct x logo on the error msg. but the control center doesnt crash and i'm still able to use it. but mainly i cant get my card to run at 8x. in the information center in the catalyst, it shows Bus Type-AGP but Current Bus Settings- OFF. how do i fix this??

thanks.
