Hi guys,

I'm buying a subsale property. My lawyer provided a quote for SPA fees.

I understand that certain things are fixed (using a specific calculation table. eg. stamp duty) and others can vary according to lawyer.

My question is, how are the other items calculated?

Specifically, how is entry and withdrawal of private caveat charged?
It seems to always vary from lawyer to lawyer.

Also, why is private caveat being charged twice (once in professional fees and another one at disbursements)?

I can't seem to Google any useful answers. Any clue?

Streamyx modem Riger + Linksys WRT54GC

I have recently upgraded to the streamyx promotion package and got a free Riger modem.
I'm trying to use it together with my own Linksys WRT54GC router.

I have no issues using the Riger modem alone however, i have no idea how to make it work together with the Linksys router.
The Linksys can connect but unable to access internet.

What i did was just inserting the streamyx userid and password using PPPoE in Riger modem and the exact same thing in the Linksys router.

Am i doing something wrong somewhere?

iPhone hangs after erase all data

I tried to erase all settings and content on my iPhone 2G FW 2.2.1. The loading bar finishes (erase process finish i assume) and then the phone reboots itself and just hangs at the apple logo screen.

Anyone has any idea how to fix this?

I want to wipe the data off my old iPhone 2G and transfer it to another newer iPhone 3GS. How is the correct way to do this?

Anyone here using iBirthday? I realize when i turn on the service and it's someone's bday on that particular day, the phone battery will be used alot compared to other normal days where there are no bdays.

I wonder is it due to the application using background task resources since there is no push notification available using the current firmware.

Anyone experience this "phenomenon" before with iBirthday or any other app?

Unable to connect to wifi

i just got a new iphone with firmware 1.1.4 today, unlocked it with iLiberty+... no problems whatsoever. And then i tried the wifi. It detected my home wifi (i'm using a linksys wrt54gc router) but when i tried to connect to it, it always fails.

I tried resetting network settings on the iphone but it still doesnt work. Anyone here experienced something like this before or know how to fix this?

Anyone here share the same interest as me in rearing crayfish? I know all petshops call them lobsters but in fact they're crayfishes. Why? coz crayfish = freshwater; lobster = saltwater.

I have 1 electric blue crayfish and 1 red one (what do u call them?..i think there's some fancy name). Will post more pics later.
