Doubt about future

Hi, I have worked for one and a half year, currently doing sun microsystem product(implement and support). Anyway, I am blur and doubt whether what I am doing currently promise me to have brighter future. I have a friends currently doing sun hardware, vvr, storage all those kind of thingy, his salary is much much higher, company provide him free training and exam, send him to oversea and so on.....

My job scope is more on product application(eg, Sun ldap, email, web server), I have no idea/experience with hardware/storage...and from what I know, working in this field promise a very bright future.

What should I do....change job? Hard to find a job nowadays without experience....am I too late? Should stay with what I am doing(even though blur with my future)?

Please share your thought....experience...feeling.....

I have a problem with my browser, both IE and firefox. There are BBBBBBB????????????characters appear at the top of the browser page, besides, can't view msn page at all. All tauge words. I have scan for virus and spyware adware, all return no result. Clean.

Any idea? Please help

I am a server newbie, currently my boss required me to come out a scripts for customer. Please read below.

* An automated script to bring down ids, ims, iws & ics
daemons in a correct sequence
* Script to bring up the above, also by the correct sequence

FYI, ids=iplanet directory server,
ims=iplanet messaging server,
iws=iplanet web server,
ics=iplanet calendar server.

I know the command to start and stop the service, but, I just want to know how to START..hehe, please help anyone out there, im noobs.

Hi all, i juz installed postfix with squirrelmail in freebsd, everything seems working fine but the only problem is i cant receive any mail. All the inbound and outbound email i think i configure it properly...i do it in local ethernet....any idea? I am totally a newbie in this..pls help ..thanks

Feeling of IT work in Non IT company

Hello everybody, is anyone out there working as IT ppl in non IT company? How is the feeling? Do ppl respect ur job? Can stand normal end user behavior? I am currently working as a system administrator. Getting bored with my job because my boss thought that every task given is easy. Ask me to complete a ldap linux samba service within a few days, groupware service in a few days....when i say it is not that easy he said nothing is hard because his bla bla bla working in IT field saying that all the job was easy job. I am a fresh grads but now getting bored in IT....is all IT job like that? Give ur feedback...thanks for sharing ur feeling....
