How to set up Mobile WiFi for CCTV

Hi, can anyone help me out? So I need to install CCTV in the warehouse with objective to view live and for that, need wifi connection.

I asked the CCTV guys and said get a special router which can insert a sim card to get wifi internet data, but didn't say much else.

What special router to use? What is the best (and not too expensive) "Mifi" plan available? I've been searching around and they boast about speed or number of connections etc. but I don't need those tbh. I just need to connect 2-3 CCTV to the Wifi or Mifi so we can view it from the office (far away)

Silly question, but would using an old smartphone with a data plan and wifi hotspot switched on work? Plugged into the charger unit permanently. In which case, I wonder how many Gb is enough per month?

Mysterious WiFi Extender Issue Maxis Tenda TP Link

I have been using Maxis Home Fibre 30Mbps for 10 months now, the router given is TP-Link C5V, and fingers-crossed so far no problems, very good. Then recently I got the Tenda A9 WiFi Extender (Booster Repeater etc) and here comes the very strange issue. Well it could be strange to me but for the sifus here, maybe you can help please?

- I set it up to extend the WiFi (under a different name, like ****_ext) and it works, everything goes smoothly until about 1 day (approx 18-30 hours) then it "hangs"
- When I say "hang" it means that I can't connect to the WiFi extender. I am using a phone to connect to this extender and the status given says "cannot obtain IP".
- I try switching the Tenda off/on, same issue, cannot connect. But when I try to connect back to the main Maxis WiFi it works, so that must mean a Tenda issue right? But hang on, it is not that simple.
- So I tried resetting the Tenda to set up the extender again, nope it does not work. Switch Tenda off/on, nope. Frustrated I take the extender, bring it close to the Maxis WiFi and nope, still cannot set up. The Tenda extender does not connect to the Maxis WiFi anymore.
- ONLY and ONLY when I switch the Maxis router off/on, then voila, the extender works again like magic! So now, does that mean it is a Maxis router problem?
- When everything works again, la la la happy for 1 day only, then the next day this same shit happens. Nothing works except to switch off/on the Maxis router (not modem) the TP Link Router. This is my life now. I use the extender until it doesn't work, then I switch off/on the Maxis router and it works again. Rinse, repeat, I mean I guess I could live with it, but it's bloody annoying.

- There was once the issue did not arise until 2 days. Otherwise it usually happens within 1 day everyday. Nothing fixes the issue except to switch off/on the router. (I can connect to the main Maxis WiFi just fine)

I have been tinkering with this issue for weeks, and here is another strange thing :-
- When this issue arises, on my laptop, strangely I manage to connect to the Tenda Extender (even though my phone can't during this issue). So on my laptop it is connected to the extender and strangely I can Google things...and some website open BUT when I open certain websites like say Arseblog.com (Arsenal Football ok, not what you think lol), cannot. It shows "no Internet connection"....what the...I can Google though. What twilight zone crap is this???

- I have contacted Tenda and they said it is a router problem.
- I have contacted Maxis and they said it is the Tenda extender issue.
- I have contacted my mother-in-law and just kidding why would I do that. But I am at a total loss here. Is it an IP configuration issue? Router issue? Tenda issue?

Can anyone help unlock this mystery? Please and thank you so much.

I have only used a couple of online banking services and so far they are pretty good, but what about you guys? Which bank in your opinion and experience do you think is the best for online banking? Of course, a few factors need to be thought of such as :-

- Customer Service
- User Functionality (do you have good control of your account, statements, receipts, applications, etc)
- Banking Coverage (as in the ability to widely cover all sorts of payments, transactions, etc)

Probably also good to factor in these factors :-

- Banking App (do they have an app and is just as good?)
- Ease of Registration
- Wide and Helpful FAQ
- I dunno...what else ah

Where can I find a half dozen blocks of dry ice? I'd like to use them in my Coleman to keep some food frozen as long as possible for my adventure trip. Any companies around the Petaling Jaya area? I've read some people say ask from icecream man, but actually is quite hard to find them these days don't you think so hahaha

Online Credit Card Bill Payment

Good evening everyone,

I am wondering (can't search for this) is there any credit card which counts online bill payments as retail transactions and hence contribute to your cash-back schemes (such as Public Bank 0.3% cash rebate) and/or credit card points (such as Maybank TreatsPoints)?

Example of bills :- Telekom, TNB, Astro, Digi, Syabas, etc

I reckon that this would be too good to be true, because bills are generally not considered as purchases but rather more of utilities/maintenance, so banks aren't so silly (or are they? ;-)) as to give free points to things you already have to pay, but I am asking anyways for you guy's experience in this. Arigato very much!

P.S. I also asked this in credit card section but I thought this might make good serious kopitiam sharing!)

Where does one buy bricks?

Good afternoon,

I'm looking for simple red clay bricks (or any kind of bricks) to use in my garden, but surprisingly it is quite hard to find them for sale. I require just a few dozen units and logically thought that those traditional hardware shops would have them but apparently not, or at least not the ones I've been to.

I've searched LYN but seems like nobody asked before. Does anybody know where I can find bricks for sale in Klang Valley? And if so, how much does it usually cost? Don't want to be conned.
