Career advice for auditor

Hello, I would like to ask members here for your views or if anyone has experience on this matter.

For an auditor that has been working with a big four auditing firm for the past six years, would like to have a change in environment by going to a medium tier audit firm for a short period. The purpose of going to a medium tier audit firm is to learn different skill sets.

Would this, as in going to the mid tier audit firm affect future career path if the end goal is to work with an MNC company in the future?

Would like to know if anyone has tried to import back your hybrid SUV car from overseas back to malaysia before?

Will kena tax or need any AP? I saw the government has this tax free incentive for importing EV cars right now , just wondering if hybrid cars are included as well?

Planning for retirement

My wife and I are currently working in australia , but we would like to retire back in malaysia one day. We plan to buy a property in kl

We would rent out the property while we continue to work in aussie , thus getting rental income .

We also plan to have kids though , if possible i would like my children to grow up in australia and be exposed to the australian education system.

Would it be wise for such a move? some people advised us to purchase a property in australia instead of going back, but we don't think that we could retire overseas as most of our family and friends are back in kl.

Road tax renewal

Anyone know where else to renew road tax now? Since post office is unavailable , I went to myeg they said need few weeks and asked me to renew online .

I did so online few weeks ago but still haven't received any thing. The car's road tax has now expired so what can I do?

Are insurance savings plans worth it?

So I have a close friend , she just signed up for a 5 or 7 yrs insurance savings plan . Every month put in rm800 and she's told after that period of time she can stop her contribution and the fund will roll by itself .

I think it's not such a good idea to lock this amount of money every month into this plan and have advised her to withdraw from the plan. Anyone with experience in this ? How good are the returns of these plans? It's purely rm800 to savings, not tied to any medical card or medical insurance.

How to deal with noisy neighbour upstairs ?

So I stay in a condo and since the beginning of the year , there's this new guy that moved in above me and they are so noisy I can hear them everyday . All kinds of noise like furniture dragging , doors opening and closing , door slamming , footsteps noise , even got children screaming.

Have complained to management multiple times but doesn't help, they only give warning . Called guard don't know how many times already . I have talked to them but they are offensive and deny everything.

Any idea how to deal with these people?

Hi sifu here, I want to add a small ventilation fan in my condo's toilet but can't seem to find where to add it. It's a small toilet and the ceiling is plaster ceiling but there is my toilet's heater inside there and there is no outlet in the plaster ceiling, so air will just be circulating inside even if I add the fan to the ceiling

There's a window though , but its facing outside , so wondering if there is any other solution that can help me?

Hi , I'd like to ask for my case here

My parents have a piece of commercial land in a popular part of nearby Ipoh town. They have surveyed and ask some architect which said that land is able to develop into two shop houses (many of the neighbouring landowners have also built similar shophouses).

I would like to know since we do not have the full amount of cash required to build the shophouses (450-500k) can we go and make some type of loan with the bank? What kind of loan will this be?
